Roman lets out a savage roar and slams into him one last time, burying himself deep.

I watch Jasper fall apart, his release coating Zeke’s stomach, just as Roman finishes inside him.

Seconds later, the four of us are panting and completely fucked out. Roman finally moves, pulling out with a low groan, and Jasper immediately slumps sideways onto the bed beside Zeke, who hasn’t stopped staring at me.

“Come here,” Jasper says, arms stretched out toward me like he can’t stand the distance for one more second. “Come on, angel. Just forget whatever’s about to make you overthink and get over here.”

He always was an overly affectionate bastard, and god, if I haven’t missed that about him.

I huff out a soft laugh and push myself to my feet, my body still trembling.

I make my way to the bed and crawl over Jasper’s solid, muscular body, loving the way he instantly pulls me into him. Hisnaked torso is hot against my skin, his cock still thick and pressing against my hip, but he doesn’t move to do anything more than hold me.

Zeke shifts beside me, wiping himself off before settling on my other side, while Roman moves in next to Jasper.

Part of me feels out of place, as if I’m intruding on something that doesn’t belong to me. But another part of me believes that this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

“You okay, beautiful?” Zeke asks, looking down at me as his fingers thread through my hair.

I manage a nod and a smile before I look across the bed, and the second I find Roman, my heart kicks up.

I’m not sure what I hoped to see, but he won’t look at me. He stares at the ceiling, his shoulders rigid with tension that screamsretreat. My fingers twitch, aching to reach for him, to cross that impossible distance, but before I can touch him, his eyes drop, catching the movement—catching the thought.

One glance at my hand and his walls slam up so fast I can almost hear them. “I’m gonna clean up,” he mutters, pushing off the bed hard enough to make the mattress dip. “I’ll be back in a minute.”

He walks away from me like it’s a matter of survival.

Only when he’s standing a few feet away does he turn back and look at me—at us—at the way Jasper’s arms are wrapped around me and the way I’m clinging to someone else while he stands alone.

For a moment, I’m sure I see comfort flash across his face, maybe even a sliver of peace, but there’s pain there too. Whatever it is, it’s enough to make him look away and walk out without saying a word.

“I’ll go with him,” Jasper says, easing me into Zeke’s waiting arms.

When I finally wrap my arms around Zeke’s body, something inside me slots back into place. But even as I breathe him in and let myself be held, part of me is still twisted up in the man who couldn’t let himself stay.

CHAPTER

ELEVEN

ZEKE

Addison’s curledup in my arms, warm and soft and exactly where I want her, while Roman’s being comforted by the one other person in this world who gets him like I do. After everything that went down tonight, after the way Jasper took the lead and cracked something open between the four of us, I’m pretty sure I’ll never be okay with letting Addie out of my sight again.

Her heart is racing, her energy a mix of confusion and contentment, but there’s also concern. Jasper’s got Roman. I trust that, so right now, my entire world narrows to the woman in my arms.

I run my fingers through her short blonde hair and press a kiss to the top of her head. “You okay, beautiful?”

She nods against my chest, pressing closer. “Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For guiding me. I’ve never done anything like that before.”

“Neither have we.”

Her palm flattens against my chest as she lifts her head, those stunning stormy-blue eyes narrowing. “Never?”

I shake my head slowly. “The three of us, yeah, obviously. But never with someone else. Never like this.”
