In and out, in and out, we moved together like two bodies made for each other and before long, an orgasm ripped through me again, Walker following close behind.

But he didn’t stop. He hardened again, and we fucked again, gently and caressing this time, before he flipped me over onto my stomach and pumped me from behind.

The night continued with nonstop sex and when the morning rolled around, we were both hurting. In a good way, of course.

But it was worth every second.

CHAPTER SIX

Luca

Elora won the bet.Not only did I fall in love with Halloween, but I fell in love with her, too.

It wasn’t hard. She was sweet, kind, and caring. Plus, watching her get excited over small things was beyond cute.

I saw a different side to holidays than what I’d seen before. I saw how it was possible to enjoy the small parts of the holiday, to turn them into our own, and not to have so much pressure to have the perfect holiday as there was no such thing.

So, what if people wanted to dress up in a costume and get candy. Free candy was pretty fun, after all.

We spent the month of October together, every day, opening and running the shop together. I worked with Gracie to get Elora’s website store up and running and should be good to go during the off season.

Elora insisted on finding new space to rent, not wanting to complicate things, but I told her it was fine to stay here. In fact, she didn’t know it yet, but I planned on gifting the space to her for only a dollar.

Maybe she’d be interested in staying open for a few more months at a time than only one.

Either way, she deserved this space. Her shop did really well this past season and I think more people will be happy to see her sticking around than closed for most of the year.

I kissed Elora on the tip of her nose before feeding her another piece of muffin. We were sitting in the break room enjoying a muffin and coffee before the chaos began. It was the day before Halloween, and we were expecting a huge crowd.

“I bet you could really capture some of those after Halloween vibes with a couple of big sales.” I said, putting my idea out there.

“That’s a good suggestion,” Elora agreed.

A muffin crumb clung to her cheek, and I kissed it away. Within seconds, our kiss turned passionate, but I held back what I really wanted to do, which was to throw her over my shoulder and have my way with her.

“Can’t you two lovebirds get a room yet?” Gracie teased as she walked into the breakroom and snatched a muffin from the table and popping a chunk in her mouth.

Elora laughed. “We have one. Right here.”

“Um no. Not when single friends are walking around.” Gracie smiled.

“Okay, point taken. But you have to admit, he’s so adorable.” Elora squeezed my cheeks and kissed my lips once more.

“He is. Maybe he could introduce me to a friend or something,” Gracie said. “A girl can always ask, right?” She said before disappearing out front again.

“She’ll find love one day. I hope. Everyone deserves a love like ours, babe.” Elora said as she stood, cleaned up her area, and pushed her chair in. “Alright, it’s time to hustle. The doors open in less than an hour.”

I got to work setting up the games while Elora did the refreshments and Gracie worked on adding to the decorations. I didn’t think this place could get any more Halloween than it already was, but Elora proved me wrong once again.

Along with working in the store side by side, we spent most nights watching a horror flick. I hated them as a kid, but watching them with Elora made all the difference, probably because halfway through we’re already fooling around, the movie forgotten about.

“So, tell me, are you this big about Christmas?” I asked Elora on our way to the front of the store.

She whipped around and laughed, her hair flying behind her. “Watch your mouth, you silver fox, you. Halloween is and will always be the greatest holiday there is. It surpasses Christmas by far.”

We both burst into laughter, and I grabbed her by the waist, stopping her in her tracks, so I could pull her close against me. I breathed in her sweet vanilla lavender scent and tucked her head beneath my chin, taking a moment to appreciate the silence between us before the chaos of the day keeps us busy and apart.

I lifted her face to mine and kissed her forehead, her eyelashes, her nose, and finally her mouth, the sparks instant the moment our lips find each other. “I love you so much, baby. So so much. Thank you for allowing me to see so much of the world I blocked out before. I was a grump, lost in my ways, until I found you.”
