Not on my face anyway.

Her gaze was directed squarely at my dick.

When the shadow of her lower lip pinched between her teeth I almost lost my train of thought.

Almost forgot why we were here.

“Where in the hell is it?”

The voices out the door dragged me back, away from the feel of her against me.

“Fuck if I know.” Cabinets banged and drawers slammed.

Something large crashed to the floor and Julia jumped, her eyes snapping up to meet mine.

Without thinking I wrapped one arm around her back, holding her close as the sounds on the other side of the door gained in volume and violence.

“It’s got to be here somewhere.” One of the men was right there. Close enough I could see the shadow of his feet under the door.

“What’s in here?”

I held my breath as all my focus went to what had to happen next.

A naked guy with a boner would be shocking enough that chances were good no one would notice the woman in the closet. As long as I got the door closed before all hell broke loose Julia would be safe.

The knob twisted.

But a sharp rap stopped everything happening outside the closet.

“Shit.” The twist of the knob stopped. “Someone’s coming in.”

How many damn people had a key to this apartment?

“Get the damn fish. He needs to know we don’t fuck around.”

Julia moved like she was going to try to intervene but I held her tight, pressing my free hand over her mouth as the chaos continued.

A few seconds later the men raced down the hall, past where Julia and I were hidden, toward the back of the apartment.

The sound of breaking glass made their escape plan clear.

I pulled my hand from her mouth and she immediately started whisper-yelling.

“Was that the one you had on your wiener?”

“That’swhat you’re worried about?”

“Would you want me touching my lady parts and then rubbing my hand all over your face?”

I wasn’t going to answer that. I didn’t have to. My dick immediately flexed at the suggestion.

Luckily a new voice saved me from answering her.

“Grant, dear?”

Sharon Sherling.

I leaned into Julia’s ear. “Stay here.”
