Chapter Nine

Collette

THIS WAS NOT the way I’d expected to end my night.

Drunk. Battered and bruised. Wearing a shirt that wasn’t mine.

Both scenarios technically had the drunk part in common.

But I for sure hadn’t planned to be unalone in my bed.

And right now I was definitely unalone.

Andrew stared down at me in the mostly-dark, his eyes locked on mine.

I held very still. I’d tried to kiss him earlier and I wasn’t making that mistake again. Not even when it was more than clear that Andrew was at least a little bit interested in me.

Part of him was anyway.

I dared the tiniest of moves, more an adjustment really, one that might remind Andrew what part of him was pressed tight against me.

His nostrils barely flared and his gaze sharpened. “What are you doing, Collette?”

I accidentally did it again. “Nothing.”

Something in him shifted.

The way he looked at me changed.

Darkened.

Intensified.

It sucked in my breath, heated my core, and clenched my thighs, which were conveniently still wrapped around his waist.

“I shouldn’t be here.” His dark gaze moved over my face. “Not right now.”

“If not now, then when?” I’d had a rough day, and honestly I could think of one thing that would make it better.

And he’d already seen my tits. What was a little more nudity?

“Are you asking me to pick a time?” Andrew’s nose was almost touching mine and I could feel the warmth of his breath as he spoke.

Teasing me.

“I could add you to my calendar.” I licked my lips. “Pencil you in.”

His eyes narrowed. “I’m not interested in an arrangement, Collette.”

“What do you mean,an arrangement?” I was trying to follow along with what he was saying, but the press of his dick to my pussy was starting to get a little distracting.

A lot. It was getting a lot distracting.

“I mean I’m not going to just show up to fuck you when you want it and then go home alone.”
