“Oh.” Willy’s brow furrowed.

“You look disappointed.”

“No, just surprised.”

He took another long sip. I’d never wished to be a cup before.

“Thank you. I appreciate you taking this seriously. Our goals are really important, and any ideas are welcome. I mean, I don’t know how many people would want a dildo shaped like you, but that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about it.”

“Many,” I said, with a wink.

“Or how many people would want their lube that tastes like their own cum.”

There was that blush again. There might not be a huge demand for it, but Willy liked the idea of it. There was no hiding that.

“Anyway, Snowdrop and I are off for our morning walk, but I wanted you to know that whatever you need from me, I’m here.” I didn’t want to leave, but I also didn’t want to get in the way of his morning routine. And it wasn’t a lie, Snowdrop needed to go for a walk if there was any hope of her being a good girl in my office… my brother’s office… the office.

“That’s… Thank you. That means a lot to me that you’re taking this seriously. And likewise, if you need anything, I’m here too.”

“Eventually, I might need to learn how to fly the reindeer.”

Willy’s eyes went wide. “We don’t fly reindeer.” He pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Sleigh… I meant sleigh.”

The look on his face said I wasn’t making it any better.

“You don’t know how to fly the sleigh? Why would Nick leave someone in charge who can’t fly the sleigh?”

I chuckled and put a hand on his shoulder. “I’m teasing, Willy. A couple of Christmases ago, I spent some time up here. I do know how to fly the sleigh.”

I’d hardly call myself an expert, but I wasn’t starting from nothing. I already planned to get a refresher course from one of the other Santas. I just liked seeing Willy all flustered and flush.

“Where I live out in the woods, I have a team of horses that I regularly drive in order to do logging in the woods, so I have some experience driving a team beyond those lessons.”

Boarding them for this gig hadn’t been my favorite thing to do, but family was family. If my brother needed me here, I was going to be here. Meeting Willy was simply an unexpected bonus.

“Oh, thank candy canes.” He let out a long breath. “I mean, flying reindeer isn’t the same as driving horses, but at least you have experience. And I’m sure your brother is an excellent teacher.”

“He is.” Although I would venture that he wouldn’t say anything similar about my student skills. “Snowdrop needs to go for her walk, and I’m assuming you need to get your day started as well. I’ll see you around.”

“Okay, thanks, Campbell. It means a lot to me that you came here.”

His praise had me feeling like I’d just hit a million views on a new reel.

“Anything for you, Elf Willy.” I winked.

There went that blush again. I tugged on Snowdrop’s collar. “Come on, pup. Let’s leave this man to his work.”

And get me out of there before I did something foolish like beg him to be mine.

Chapter 7

Willy

It was a day like any other. Which, considering how close we were to Christmas, was a good thing. There had been years when we were working round the clock and still sweating it out, fearing that we were going to miss all of our targets. Boring was good. The best, even.

Campbell had been here for two weeks. He was spending a lot of time in the stable getting to know the reindeer, which would do well for when it came time to do the whole Christmas-night thing. He’d promised that he would get to know them andpractice driving the sleigh. The stable hands loved him and said he had a knack for communicating with the reindeer. In that way he was very like his brother.
