My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I was anxious, thinking it was Wells. He was close. He was closewith herbut imagine my relief when I saw my sister’s face.
I smiled at the picture of her and Dorian on the beach. They were honeymooning in Bali, and she sent all kinds of pictures. Apparently, the Prinze family had a private island there, and Dorian took Sloane there. They’d been there for weeks and had plans to be there quite a bit of the summer.
If my new brother-in-law was one thing, he was extra, and how crazy thatDorian Prinzewas my brother-in-law? We had a tumultuous history he and I, but I loved that guy. He was also good for my sister, great for her.
My smile was big on the picture, but it managed to get bigger with the words below it.
Sloane:Good luck today. She’s going to love it!
Leave it to my sister to settle my stomach a little. I also heard from Fawn today. She was my brother Ares’s fiancée, but she was also one of my best friends. She and I didn’t talk as much since we were both so busy, but she sent me a text this morning.
Fawn:I’m so happy for you, friend! Make sure to tell me all about Bow’s reaction.
She would definitely be hearing from me. My brother, Ares, also reached out about today. In fact, I’d heard from all our friends at one point. They wanted to know Bow’s reaction to everything.
Their support made me strong, but my stomach flip-flopped again as I read the text I just got.
Wells:Almost there. Look out.
I braved my shit up in that moment. I told myself it wouldn’t freak out our girlfriend that we bought her a house before any of us graduated.
Me:Lead her upstairs.
We had been planning this meticulously, but still things could go wrong. I mean, Bow could say no to moving in with us.
My dad didn’t think I was crazy, but he did ask if I was sure I wanted to use a healthy part of my trust fund to buy the house. Wells did the same, but his daddidthink he was crazy.
Funnily enough, neither of our moms had. They said we were our fathers’ sons and it didn’t take a scientist to know what they meant by that. All our parents loved hard, and when we found the one, well, we went all in.
“What is this?” Bow asked, giggling. Wells had his hands over her eyes, which was hilarious. He could have just had her wear a blindfold. She touched his hands. “Come on, Archer. Tell me.”
The grin that split Wells’s face was crazy. These two had a history I’d never been a part of, and, though I never would, that didn’t matter.
I got behind Bow. I put my hands on her trim hips, and she jumped a little. She was wearing this short little skirt that teased the fuck out of me. It’d beenkillingme not being able to touch her properly lately. She’d been recovering from her accident, and the three of us actually hadn’t had sex sincebeforethe accident. Wells and I hadn’t wanted to hurt Bow.
Yeah, that shit had been killingall of us,but we’d gotten by. Let’s just say the three of us got… creative sometimes.
Bow was fully healed now, and my cock twitched seeing the effect my hands had on her. She braced my hands on her hips before sucking in a breath.
“Bru?” It was crazy how she knew my touch from Wells’s. She guessed it was me all the time when we were in the shower and I tried to surprise her. We were never in there long before Wells came in. Again, no sex was had, but things got pretty steamy before Wells and I forced ourselves to stop for Bow’s sake.
Bow leaned back into my arms. “Why am I not surprised you’re here too?”
Maybe because Wells and I never did anything without the other.
“We’ve got a surprise for you,” I said, enjoying her smell. I hugged her close. Honestly, once I had her sweet smell in my nose, I didn’t want to let go of her, but Wells eyed me. He could be possessive when it came to her, and I loved that because I got to break him down. I got to test his boundaries, which was always fun.
“The kid and I have to show you something,” Wells said as he uncovered her eyes. Bow had her hair down today, her beautiful dark waves shining in the setting sun. The view wasperfectout here now, which was why we waited to show her the place we bought for this exact time.
Bow’s mouth parted, and she stared off into the horizon of Maywood Heights. It was all rolling hills and beautifully scenic with its lush green trees combined with the cityscape. Bow turned toward us, a gleeful look on her face. “What is this?”
“This is the view from your new house. Well, our new house,” Wells explained, then dropped an arm around my shoulders. “The kid and I bought it for you. For us.”
“That is, if you want to move in with us,” I said, taking Bow’s hand.
“Move… in?” she questioned, shaking her head. “You guys bought me a house.Usa house?” Her mouth parted. “When would we move in?”
The fact that she didn’t say this all was crazy…
