“He died about ten years ago. Heart attack. Lost my way for a bit but eventually found my footing when an old high school friend reached out and offered me a job in landscaping. It was a tough time for a while.”
“I’m sorry, Hudson. Life can be a struggle, that’s for sure.”
“I’m sure growing up in a big family wasn’t without its hardships.”
“It sure wasn’t. My brother is the oldest and thinks he’s king, my sister plays the middle child card well, and me, well, I’m the baby, and my parents sometimes still treat me like one. I’ve always been the loud, crazy one. I guess that’s what growing up in a large family does. You learn to make yourself heard above everyone else.”
“I can see that. But being the baby is nice. I’m sure you got your way often, no?”
I snorted. “Ha. I wish. Sure, maybe I didn’t get as harshly punished when I broke curfew or snuck out with my friends. But that’s about as much special treatment as I got. Which was a good thing, don’t get me wrong. My parents treated us all fairly, and for that, I’m grateful.”
“I always wished I got that motherly role model figure. But we always wish for what we don’t have, right?”
I reached across the table and squeezed his hand. “I still think you’re pretty great.”
“Even though I’m an old man compared to you?”
“An old man? No way.”
“I’m thirty-four.”
My mouth fell open a bit. “Oh shit!” I laughed. “I wouldn’t have guessed past thirty!”
“Stop it, you’re too kind.” Hudson grinned.
“Ten years is nothing. My parents are six years apart.”
“You’re twenty-four? Okay, not as young as I thought.”
“What did you think, I was underage or something? And you still hit on me?”
Hudson chuckled before finishing off his beer. “I never once thought you were under twenty-one. I wouldn’t have gone for you if I did.”
“Good. I’m glad you’re not forty, though I honestly thought late twenties at most.”
“And what if I was forty? What’s so wrong with that?” He smirked.
“There’s nothing wrong with it. I’d be afraid you wouldn’t be able to keep up with me.”
Hudson almost choked on his bite of lasagna. “Are you talking in the bedroom?”
“Sure am.” I winked.
Hudson threw his fork down. “I’m not really hungry anymore.”
“No? How come?”
“I’m not hungry for food.” He stood so fast his chair clattered backward. “I’m hungry for you.”
I swallowed hard, my heart rate doubling in speed as he rounded the table and stood beside me. Turning my head, I came face-to-face with his hard dick straining beneath his jeans, and my mouth watered.
Without warning, Hudson lifted me out of my chair and into his arms, tossing me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. “Ahh!” I shrieked and laughed at the same time. “Does this mean I’m your girlfriend?”
Hudson slapped my ass before carrying me upstairs. “You always were,” he growled, and there went my panties, completely soaked.
After strippingeach article of clothing off me and kissing every inch of my skin, I wiggled beneath him, so turned on and ready to take our relationship to the next level.
“Are you sure you’re okay with this? You feel ready?”
