Smiling, I wrap my arms around his neck and lean up on my tiptoes to press a soft kiss to his lips.

He groans softly, his hold on me tightening, and I bite the inside of my cheek when I feel him growing against my belly.

“Someone’s excited to see me,” I tease, brushing my lips against his.

“Sorry.”

“Don’t be.” I pull back to look up at him. “Now, what are your plans for today?”

“I don’t have any.” He blinks down at me.

“You do now.” I grin, taking a step back. “Go get ready. You're coming out for coffee with me and Kai.”

“Kai?” His eyes widen.

“Yes.” I raise a brow. “Is that a problem? Do you not like him? I thought you and your brothers were cool with him?”

“We are.”

“Okay, then, good. Go get dressed.” I wave him off.

“O-okay,” he stammers before rushing away.

I showered when I got home last night, so all I have to worry about is getting dressed. Opting for a pair of ripped jeans and aloose crop top, I throw my hair up in a messy bun and do some quick, easy makeup.

Taking a moment, I look at myself in the mirror and smile. For the first time in what feels like forever, I’m not stressed.

It’s only been five months since coming to Rose Briar Hill, and so much has happened already.

Logan and Benny have had the majority of my attention, and under the circumstances, that's understandable. But the rollercoaster of bullshit that crazy bitch, Stacy, had me on has come to a stop. So, for now, I’m hoping to be able to spend more time with the other guys. And thankfully, we have two weeks of no school, so I’ll be able to do just that.

We’re still not sure what is going to happen with Stacy, but right now, she’s thankfully still locked up, and Logan was granted temporary full custody. Benny is safe here with his dad, and Logan can sleep at night knowing that the witch can’t come back and take him.

If the judge has any sort of fucking brains in his head, he wouldn’t dare think about allowing her back in his life. If anything, the bitch should be locked up for the rest of her pitiful existence.

Whatever does end up happening, I know I’ll be at Logan’s side, fighting for him and Benny. She manipulated me into staying away, and it only caused more harm than good.

Not anymore. Logan is mine. That little boy is mine. I’m not going anywhere.

And now, I’m going to start putting myself first and take hold of my own happiness. Starting with that sexy boy down the hall.

Yes, I’m still worried about what Mom is going to think when she finds out I’m with not one, but all three of my stepbrothers. But I think after she gets over the initial shock, she will be supportive. I hope. God, I really hope so.

“There he is.” I point towards the little table outside the cafe where Kai is sitting.

Hearing my voice, he looks up from his phone and smiles when he sees me. His eyes drift over my shoulder to Elijah, raising a brow in question, but the smile stays on his handsome face nonetheless.

“Hey, Sweetheart.”

“Hey.” I smile, taking a seat next to him. “I hope you don’t mind that I brought Elijah.”

“Wait.” Elijah pauses just before he’s about to sit down and looks between the two of us. “You didn’t tell him I was coming?”

My smile falls. “No.” I look at Kai. “It’s not a problem, is it?”

“No. Of course not.” Kai waves me off. “He’s more than welcome.”
