“Alright, enough with the fuck-me eyes,” Owen grumbles as he shoves a few of his bags into Kai’s arms, making him grunt. “Put these in the back for me, will you?” Owen wraps an arm around my shoulder, pulling me to his side. “Thanks.”

Kai looks at him with amusement. “Jealousy is cute on you, Owen.”

“I’m not jealous,” Owen grunts.

“You're not?” Elijah asks. “Could have fooled no one, big brother.”

“Oh fuck off,” Owen growls.

Me? I just stand there smiling. I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone and loving every moment of it.

Kai takes the bags and sticks them in the trunk before helping Eli with the rest. I don’t miss the heated looks Kai gives him and the shy, blushing ones Eli gives back.

I have no idea what happened between the two of them, apart from the dancing, which is something I wish I could have seen for myself.

Whatever is going on, I just hope it all works out. I meant it when I said I just wanted them to be happy. And if that's together, great. If not, we will learn ways to work around it. I hope.

“Alright. Everything is packed. Is that all?” Kai asks. His brows furrowed. “Where’s Logan?”

My stomach sinks. “He isn’t coming.” I give him a sad smile. “He doesn’t feel like he can be away from Benny for that long.”

“Oh,” Kai says, nodding. “I understand.” He pulls me into his arms. “You okay?”

“Yeah. A little sad he can’t come. But I get it.”

It’s only been a few weeks since everything that happened with Benny and Stacy. I wouldn’t expect him to be over it this soon. If ever. I know I’m not. Even I don’t feel right about leaving the two of them behind. I just want to be by their side, helping Logan with Benny as much as I can.

“Let’s get this show on the road,” Owen cheers, slipping into the back seat of the limo, Eli following after him.

“After you.” Kai smiles, holding the door open for me.

“Why, thank you.” I wink, just about to get inside.

“Wait!”

My head darts towards the front door of the house to see Logan running towards us. For a second, I think he’s coming to say goodbye, but then I see the backpack in his arms.

“You're coming?” I ask with excitement as he stops next to us, out of breath.

“Yeah.” He gives me a wry grin. “Your mom convinced me.” I need to remember to thank my mom big time for being amazing today. “She assured me Benny would be happy and safe. That she wouldn’t take him out of the house and would call if needed, and text me with updates every hour.”

“Are you sure?” I ask as Kai takes Logan’s bag and puts it in the trunk.

Logan steps closer and pulls me into his arms. “I’m sure.” He leans down and brushes his lips against mine. “I think a week away with you is just what I need.”

“Benny can come too,” I offer. “If that makes you feel better.”

Logan gives me a boyish smile. “I love that you care so much. But it’s okay. Yes, I’m gonna be a mess of worry when it comes to him, but I think having a baby on this trip might not be for thebest.” His eyes grow heated as his hand on my back drops to my ass. “Plus, I want some alone time with you, Laney.”

“I’d love that,” I whisper, arousal settling between my legs. Logan pulls me into the limo, and Kai follows after, closing the door behind him.

As we pull away from the house, I look between the four guys sitting around me. All of their eyes are on me, and the attention has me shifting in my seat. It’s just hitting me now that I’m going to be alone with these men. For a full week.

I’m both nervous but delighted. This is going to be one hell of a vacation and I can’t wait.
