Frowning, I watch as he takes a drink from his cup before bringing his attention towards the girls at the bar.
They look like little ski bunnies, all dolled up in expensive snow gear. The kind that does nothing to actually keep you warm and is all for show.
The redhead laughs like whatever he said was the funniest thing ever. Which is odd because I didn’t even see his mouth open.
Owen smirks and shakes his head before going back to taking a drink.
From the looks of it, he’s trying to politely ignore them, but they don’t seem to be taking the hint. The one with long black hair puts her hand on his arm, running it up slowly as she leans in and whispers something in his ear.
Yeah, fuck that. Nope.
Putting my drink down on the table, I get to my feet and storm over there. Jealousy fuels me, growing by every passing second when I see the two of them on either side of Owen, leaning in closer, laughing, and talking.
I’m barefoot in my leggings and baggy sweater with my hair piled on top of my head, probably looking like an angry raccoon right about now, and I could care less.
“Come hang out with us,” the redhead purrs. “We have a room upstairs for the weekend.”
“Like I’ve said before, I’m not interested,” Owen says, giving her a smile. Now that I’m closer, I can see that his eyes are a little red and hooded. Whatever is in his cup isn’t hot cocoa. Is he drunk? Or at least on his way there.
“If you have a girlfriend or something back home, don’t even worry about it. No one needs to know. It can be our little secret,” the one with black hair says.
“You’ve got to be joking, right?” I snort, crossing my arms as I glare at the two women.
Owen’s back stiffens, and I swear I see it shaking with laughter.Fucker is getting off on this, isn’t he?
“Can we help you?” the black haired one asks, cocking a brow.
“Sure. Wanna tell me why you’re telling my boyfriend to cheat on me with the two of you?”
“You’re his girlfriend?” the redhead scoffs in disbelief.
“Sure am,” I respond like I’m talking to a two-year-old. Did she not hear me?
“Could have fooled me. Does he know that you’re cheating on him?” the black haired girl smirks.
“Excuse me?” I frown.
“With those guys.” She points to the couch where Kai, Logan, and Eli are sitting. “We’ve seen them all over you for the past hour. I’ve seen you kiss each of them at least once.”
“They’re my boyfriends,” I growl through gritted teeth.
“I thought you said he was your boyfriend?” the redhead huffs.
“They all are.”
“Wow,” the black haired one says, judging me real hard right now, and I want to slap her for it. “Slut much?”
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.” I huff out a disbelieving laugh. “You're calling me a slut when you two were just trying to get a threesome out of him?”
Their cheeks turn pink, faces scrunched up in an angry scowl.
“Not even denying it.” I shake my head. “Get lost and think twice before slut shaming other women. Your body, your choice. Do as you please. Just don’t judge other women for what they do with theirs.”
“Whatever,” the black-haired girl sneers. “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”
The two of them scamper away to lick their wounds as I swing an annoyed glare at Owen.
“You know...” He gives me a cocky smirk as he turns in his chair. “Seeing you get all territorial like that has me so fucking hard.” He adjusts himself, and I have to force myself not to look.
