We’ve been here for an hour, and he’s been nothing but irritable.
“Maybe I should go talk to him.”
“He’ll be fine,” Kai says. “Stay. Have fun. Talk to him later. Maybe he just really hates the snow.”
“Okay,” I concede. “Although I am done skiing. I want to give snowboarding a try.”
“Come on then, my little snow bunny.” Logan grins. “Let me show you how it’s done.”

An hour later, we’re dragging our asses into the lodge. My face hurts from smiling so much, belly cramped from laughing at how many times Logan fell on his ass, and my feet are soaked from the amount of snow I’ve gotten in my boots.
Even though I look like a hot mess as I take my hat off, shaking out my wet strands, my cheeks pink and cold, I’m radiating with happiness. This is exactly what I wanted: to escape reality and just have fun with the guys.
“Alright.” Logan scoops me up and sits me down on one of the couches. “Let’s get these off you.”
I watch him with fondness as he takes care of me. He removes my wet boots, then my socks, before setting my feet up on the table in front of the roaring fire.
“Thank you.” I smile up at him. He grins back, leaning down to kiss me on the lips.
“Anything for my Siren.” He winks. This is new. But this is also Logan. He’s a caregiver; it’s in his bones. I see it in the way he treats Benny. I knew whatever woman he ended up with would be so loved and spoiled. And that woman just so happens to be me. Despite how much his baby mama tried to keep us apart.
Shaking my head, I make sure to keep her out of my thoughts.
Logan has called Mom a few times, and I got to hear him talk to Benny. Listening to his baby babbles had my heart practically exploding. And when Logan talked to Benny like they were having a full-on conversation, my damn ovaries went into heat. I swear.
I’ve always wanted kids. But seeing how much of an amazing dad Logan is, and how the others are with Benny, I know when that time comes, I’ve picked the right men for the job.
“Here.” Kai’s deep voice has me looking up. He stands over me, a mug in his hand. “Something hot to warm you up.”
“Oh.” I take the mug. “Thank you, but I’m not a fan of hot chocolate.”
“Good thing it’s not hot chocolate.” He winks.
Smiling, I take a careful sip and moan. Caramel and marshmallows hit my tongue, flavor exploding in my mouth. “This is so good.”
“I know you're a coffee girl,” Elijah says, taking a seat next to me. “I wouldn’t dare let him give you anything but.”
“Thanks.” I laugh.
“Such a brat,” Kai says, but it’s said with affection. Eli’s ears turn bright pink at the tips.
The two of them are so damn cute together.
It’s only been a few days since I found out what Elijah did for work, but in that small amount of time, I honestly would never have guessed that’s his job. Even with what I’ve seen before.
Elijah is a sweet, soft-spoken guy. Sure, I’ve heard his dirty mouth before, and god did I love it, but apart from that, he gives off very submissive vibes. It makes sense, seeing how he’s never been with anyone before me. Although, I never would have guessed he was inexperienced from that first time we were together. It was amazing, something I’ll never forget.
So, Elijah being a stripper, coming out of his shell and being this whole new person was unexpected. But it wasn’t something I hated. No. It’s something I want to see so much more of. Like when he’s on stage, he’s someone new.
Ben. Ben Dover.
God, his boss should be throat punched for giving him that god awful name. My poor boy. But he wears that name with pride. And it’s so damn sexy.
“Where’s Owen?” I ask after sitting by the fire long enough to warm up.
“Ahh...” Logan looks around the room before pointing towards the bar. “There he is.”
