“Dude, that's my best friend you're talking about,” Winter grumbles.
“Sorry, babe. Your best friend is a hottie. One I really enjoy fucking.”
“Yuck. Gonna stop you right there. You three have fun. And let me know how he reacts, okay?” Her eyes light up with excitement, knowing exactly what Kai and I have planned for Eli. “I wish I could see his face.”
“Me too.”Giddy excitement fills me. I really, really hope Eli likes what we have planned and doesn’t end up hating us.
I don’t think he will... Maybe. Fuck. Guess we’re about to find out.

“You two aren’t leading me to my untimely death, aren’t you?” Eli asks, his voice thick with skepticism.
“Well, shit, Sweetheart, he’s on to us,” Kai chuckles.
“Damn it.” I sigh in mock disappointment. “I was hoping we could get him to the abandoned warehouse before he got suspicious.”
“Haha. Very funny,” Eli drolls.
“I thought so,” Kai chuckles.
“Really. What are you two up to?”
Smiling over at Kai, he grins back, shooting me a wink as we park the car.
“Keep the blindfold on, I’m going to come around and help you out of the car.”
Kai gets out and opens the back seat, helping Eli out. “Well, I hear other cars and people, so we’re not in the middle of nowhere, so that’s good. I can just scream for help if I need it.”
“How do you know we haven’t paid them off to look the other way?” I say playfully.
“Okay, now I’m really starting to get worried,” Eli groans.
“No need to worry, sweet boy,” Kai murmurs in Eli’s ear, making him shiver. “We’re here.”
Kai helps him step up onto the sidewalk, stopping Eli right in front of our destination.
“Ready?” I ask, practically bouncing with excitement.
“I think so?” Eli laughs.
“One. Two,” Kai starts, then pulls off the blindfold. “Three.”
My gaze is glued to Eli’s face, not wanting to miss a single moment of his reaction.
He blinks a few times before groaning, “Ahh, is this some kind of mean joke?” Eli asks, looking between the two of us.
“Of course not.” I laugh.
“Then why did you take me to the property that was sold? The one that I really wanted?”
I roll my lips together, barely holding in my excitement. This one was all Kai, so I let him take over.
“Because.” Kai holds up a set of keys. “I’m the one who bought the building.”
“W-what?” Eli looks stunned for a moment before his eyes widen in surprise. “Are you joking?”
“Nope.” Kai’s lips curve into a handsome smile, just as excited as I am. “It’s all mine. Well, I should say, yours.” Kai hands Eli the keys.
