“What are you doing?” she whispered when he pushed her back against the wall.
“The next thing on my list. Hold on to me if you need to.”
“There’s a list?” was all she managed to get out before Memphis pulled one of her legs over his shoulder. Leaning in, he growled when he ran his tongue through her folds. “Oh my God, Memphis.”
She knew he could work magic with his fingers, but this was something so much better. He wasn’t timid in his exploration of her. He devoured her. In minutes, she could feel her orgasm building. When he sucked her clit into his mouth, her orgasm raced through her with a vengeance. Somewhere in the distance, she heard a scream, but couldn’t tell if it was her.
She would have issued a fervent thanks, when she finally stopped panting, but he didn’t give her a chance. Sliding his finger into her heat, he amped up his efforts. When she felt another orgasm barrel through her, she couldn’t decide if it was a new one or just the continuation of the other one.
Her heart was pounding so hard she thought it would actually tear its way out of her chest. Even with Memphis’ hand pressing her thigh against the wall, she simply couldn’t remain standing.
As she melted down the wall, he caught her, pulling her into his lap on the floor. Adjusting until his back was against the wall, he held her to him as she recovered.
Sitting up suddenly, Thayer reached between his legs. “I’m sorry, I can finish you.” He laughed, catching her hands before pulling her back into his chest.
“Don’t worry about me. I came again just like I did last night. It’s a wonder I didn’t blow a hole in the shower wall.” She grinned up at him, meeting his bright green eyes. With a shrug of his shoulders, he added, “You came on my tongue. What was I supposed to do? I don’t have that kind of control.”
“I think you melted me.”
“I melted you? That was just two.”
“Oh, my God. I can’t feel my bones. You think I can do more?”
“I’d like to find out,” he said with a wicked grin. Leveling off the floor with her in his arms, he shut off the water before stepping out. Pulling a towel from the rack, he set her on her feet, wrapping it around her. Pulling two more towels from the cabinet, he wrapped one around his waist before handing her the other one for her hair.
When she was dry, she pulled the flannel shirt back over her head while Memphis slid on a pair of sweatpants. He scooped her up, depositing her on the couch with a blanket.
Moving to the kitchen, he relit the stove, moving the chili back over the flame, ladling out two bowlfuls when it was hot. Popping open two beers, he crossed back into the living room.
“What movie?” Memphis asked, handing Thayer a beer.
“Magic Mike,” Thayer said with a grin.
“Pretty sure I heardDeadpool,” Memphis answered, looking through the DVDs.
“10 Things I Hate About You?”
“I’m not fifteen or full of teenage angst.Avengers?”
“Yes! Lots of hot male flesh. Is Tom Hiddleston in this one? Love me some tall, lanky bad boy.” Thayer was trying hard to keep the laugh trying to bubble up from escaping.
“Nope,” Memphis said, turning back to the movies, tossing the box back on the shelf as Thayer gave up a giggle. “We’re watchingA Knight’s Tale. It’s got Heath Ledger, jousting, and classic rock. I can’t believe you would think I have a copy ofMagic Mike,” he grumbled in disgust, flopping down on the couch next to her.
Thayer dug into her dinner, not realizing she was so hungry until her first bite. She watched Memphis out of the corner of her eye as he sat with his eyebrows knit in concentration.
Finally, he turned to look at her. “I don’t think I’m pretty enough to pull off Loki.”
Thayer couldn’t hold back this time as she burst into laughter. When she had regained control, she looked at Memphis, hoping she hadn’t hurt his ego, but he sat grinning at her.
“Actually, I developed a crush on him watchingWallenderwith my dad. You’d have to dye your hair blond.”
“Oh no, I look stupid with blond hair. One of my foster sisters decided I should have the surfer dude look when I was sixteen, so she bleached my hair out with a bottle of peroxide. I thought our foster mom was going to kill us,” Memphis laughed. “I had these black eyebrows and platinum blond hair. I looked like an idiot.”
“I didn’t know you were in the foster system,” Thayer said, forgetting about the movie.
“Yeah, since I was seven, when my mom died. My dad had long since taken off, so they had to do something with me. That’s where I got this tattoo. The foster home I lived in throughout high school started with four of us boys and two girls. I don’t know why they never moved us, but Jay, the oldest, decided we should all get matching tattoos. He said that no matter how old we got or how lost, we could always find our way home.”
Rolling his eyes at Thayer, he added, “I know it’s cheesy, but we were teenagers.”
