Sorin pulled back. Athena gave a little protest, not wanting to separate from him.
“Not here, my siren.” He chuckled.
Athena opened her eyes to find his lips curved up in a slight smile.
“As much as I want you, this is not the place,” he said.
He pressed his hardened length against her belly. She blinked, trying to catch her breath.
She had completely forgotten they were in a very public place. Any person could see them. If Sorin hadn’t pulled back, she may have ended up begging him to take her right then and there.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.” She unthreaded her fingers from his hair and rested them on his chest. She focused on his chin, unable to meet his eyes.
“No need to apologize, my little siren. I need you more than I need my next breath,” he said.
Her gaze flickered to his, and she stared up into his dark pools. She practically melted against his body with his words and the heat of his look.
“Oh my,” she breathed. Her brain wasn’t functioning. She couldn’t get words to form.
He smiled at her and brushed her hair from her face. “But don’t worry, Athena. Your body will burn for me.”
Yeah, I’m already there.
Athena’s body was strung tight. One brush of his finger over her clit, and she would explode.
“But that would be for later. Let’s enjoy what the gardens have in store for us.” He pressed another kiss to her forehead and held out his arm for her.
Athena blinked.
A walk under the beautiful large moon, in the most luxurious garden she’d ever seen with him?
Normally she would be ecstatic, but with the way her body was reacting to his, she’d rather be on her knees with him thrusting his length deep inside her.
“Yes, that would be nice.” She offered a wide grin, hiding her disappointment.
