Twenty-Four
Leo smiled as Percival’s rose-coloured talons pressed against the cobblestones of the alley. His wings tucked in. He stretched his long neck, gazing down at Leo.
A plume of red and black feathers stuck up from the top of Percival’s head. His feathers glimmered in the light from the bakery window behind Leo.
The snow still fell, but it melted before even touching Percival’s feathers.
“I can’t get over how beautiful you are.” Leo walked towards him. He smoothed his hands over the soft feathers. He delved his fingers into them, and he could feel the hard, rigid shafts that ran down the middle of each feather.
“You’re such a beautiful bird. And you looked so majestic in the air.”
Percival lowered his head, rubbing it against Leo’s face. Leo chuckled as he wrapped his arms around the phoenix’s neck.
Then Percival stepped backwards, away from Leo. He kept moving further away.
Leo frowned. “Percy?”
The scent of soot filled his nostrils. Heat wafted from Percival. Then bright flames consumed him.
Leo’s mouth fell open as Percival shrank in on himself. Feathers retracted. Suddenly, the phoenix was gone. In his place was Percival as a human. A very naked human.
“I did it!” Percival ran towards him. He threw his arms around Leo. “I shifted! I flew! I shot fire from my beak! I did it!”
Leo laughed. He wrapped his arms around Percival. “You’re incredible!”
“You should have seen it! The city looks so different from above.” Percival’s voice lit up. “We flew all over Anorra. Then a forest and a lake. It was so spectacular, Leo. I practiced shooting fire. I worried if I did it over the city or trees, I might set something alight, so I did it over the lake instead.
“Oh! And I saw the Christmas markets, Leo. I can’t wait to go with you! They looked so pretty. Then, on the way back—” Percival pointed at Ebony, who sat on a window ledge, preening her feathers.
“And Ebony. She showed me the way back. I followed her. I probably would have gotten lost if not for her.” He laughed. “I wasn’t paying attention where we were flying.”
Leo smiled at the enthusiasm bursting forth from Percival.
“It was so wonderful, Leo. I wish you could have shared it with me.” Percival rubbed his cheek against Leo’s.
Then he pulled back and captured Leo’s mouth in a bruising kiss, gripping Leo’s face in his hands.
Leo returned the hungry kiss. He slid his hands down to Percival’s lower back, very aware of how naked Percival was. He moved his hands lower, over the firm globes of Percival’s arse. He squeezed.
Percival pressed forward against Leo. Their mouths moved, tongues tangling together. Even through Leo’s clothes, he could feel Percival’s hard dick against him.
Leo’s cock thickened and hardened, pressing against the fabric of his drawers. He thrust forward.
“Oi!”
Percival and Leo yanked apart. They turned towards the bakery.
Grady stood at the open window. “Get your arses upstairs and into your room!” he yelled. “I don’t want you fucking in the alley where we can all see you!”
“I’m…so sorry, Grady,” Percival stuttered.
Cas leaned into view, pushing into Grady. He smiled widely. “Yeah! If you’re going to fuck in an alley, go where we can’t see you, you perverts!” Cas cackled.
Laughter rang out through the back area of the bakery.
Grady gave Cas a look.
But Cas ignored him. He just reached his arm through the window and pointed down the alley. “Graal and I sometimes fuck in a side alley down that way. If you are keen to fuck in an alley, I’d recommend you go there. It’s much more private.”
