“Is it always like this?” I asked, breathless, and kissing his cheek.
“You always experience pleasure, but I assure you I’ve never felt what I feel with you, it’s impressive.”
“It was for me too.”
“And let it be clear that you’re only going to continue experiencing it with me,” he clarified, seriously. “Don’t get any ideas about wanting to experience it with other people.”
“And what if I wanted to?” I questioned, just to test him.
He placed his hands on either side of my body to raise himself and look at me seriously.
“No, absolutely not. I won’t allow you to be with anyone else, only I have rights over this sculptural body. If you have needs and I’m not with you, call me at any time and I’ll come...”
I interrupted him with my laughter. I began to laugh uncontrollably, imagining the situation he was describing. It was very funny to imagine myself calling him in the middle of the night or at noon and him rushing out at any hour to give me pleasure. It was a completely implausible situation. How crazy!
Henry looked at me seriously, but then he also started to laugh.
“I was serious, why are you laughing?”
“It’s just that…I can’t imagine you…running through the streets to come…give me pleasure,” I said, between laughs.
“Of course I would.”
“You’re crazy.”
“Maybe, but I only do crazy things for you,” he affirmed.
That surprised me, but I forced myself not to overthink it. I stopped laughing, looked at him and lunged for his mouth, kissing him with all the emotion I felt in that moment. When we separated, he was looking at me with surprise reflected on his handsome face.
“Agreed, only with you. And remember that it has to be reciprocal, champ.”
“That’s fair,” he said, smiling, gave me a soft kiss on the lips and withdrew from my body.
I woke up feeling something holding me down. When I was able to open my eyes, I found Henry embracing me with his arms and legs. He was sleeping peacefully with his face buried in my hair and hugging me from behind, his chest pressed against my back and one of his legs over mine. If I had wanted to get out, it would have been impossible. But the truth was that it felt so good that I had no intention of leaving this beautiful prison. It was comfortable and warm and made me feel protected. I looked at the clock, it was eight-thirty on Sunday morning, so I figured we could still sleep a little longer. I snuggled closer to his body, closed my eyes and once again surrendered to sleep.
I was awakened by my phone’s ringtone. Henry was still sleeping and wasn’t holding me so tightly, so, performing all kinds of acrobatics, I got up and went to the living room to answer. It was my friend Sean.
“Hello there!” I answered, while sitting down on the living room sofa.
“Hello, beautiful! How are you? You’ve been neglecting me,” he reproached me.
“Don’t say that. You know I always keep you in my thoughts and that I love you with all my soul, besides missing you terribly. I know it’s no excuse, but lately the days have been complicated.”
“Complicated at work or complicated in matters of the heart?”
“To be honest…both.”
“Are you serious?” he said, completely surprised.
“Yes.”
“I don’t care about work, spill the other stuff! Right now!”
“I can’t.”
“Whaaaat?!”
“I can’t right now.”
