“How long have I been unconscious?”

“Five days, five eternal days,” Henry replied, looking at me seriously.

“Five days...” I repeated, surprised by this information. “Christmas has already passed... I’m sorry.”

“Don’t apologize to us, we should be the ones apologizing for allowing this to happen,” Henry stated.

“That’s not true, no one could have done anything,” I said, and asked the question that had been circling in my head: “What happened to Sol?”

“I don’t give a damn what happens to her!” exclaimed Henry.

“Don’t worry about her,” said Lolo, but from his expression I knew that he also despised her with all his might, and I couldn’t blame them.

As always, sensible Bastián took the floor and clarified my doubt.

“The girl will go to prison or to a psychiatric institution and she’ll stay there for a good while, I assure you.”

“Let her stay there for life!” exclaimed Niky.

“We should go so Dali can rest,” said Bastián.

“Dali, Sean is on his way. He traveled as soon as he heard what happened. When you woke up he had gone to take a shower, but we let him know and he’s coming.”

“You shouldn’t have told him,” I said.

“If we hadn’t told him, he would have hated us for life. You know how he is about you,” said Lolo, and I noticed that Henry looked at him seriously.

“My mother also arrived, she was here all morning and we forced her to leave to get something to eat. I haven’t told her yet that you woke up,” Henry said.

“I haven’t told her either, but I’ll go get her in a little while and bring her back,” Niky said.

“Let her know, but save the visit for tomorrow because Dalina needs to rest,” Henry suggested.

“Alright,” Niky replied.

“We should get going,” Lolo said, approaching to hug me and giving me a loud kiss on the cheek.

“I love you,” I told him.

“And I adore you.”

“Move aside, I want to say goodbye to my little sister too,” Bastián said, pushing Lolo away. “I love you, little demon, take good care of yourself.”

“I love you too.”

Niky was the last to approach.

“You’re the sister life gave me, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I love you and, believe it or not, I love these two nuisances too,” she said, laughing and pointing at my brothers who smiled back at her.

“I love you too.”

“Here, I’ve had this with me for days because I figured you’d want to give it to him when you woke up,” she whispered, discreetly handing me the gift I had bought for Henry.

“Thank you.”

The three of them left and Henry sat on the bed and hugged me tightly.

“You look terrible. You need to rest,” I said.
