“Hey man, I think you need to leave. You’ve broken into my house, you’re harassing this woman, if you don’t leave, I’m calling the police.” This nigga just couldn’t wait his turn, he obviously wanted to be dealt with right now. Fine by me.
“Harassing her? This my bitch nigga, I ain’t gotta harass shit. I thought you woulda caught the hint and shut the fuck up while I was dealing with my girl, but I see yo’ ass wasn’t raisedwith manners.” I got ready to make my way over to him. Tiomi grabbed my arm to stop me.
“Baby please let's just go get Rae and head home, we can talk there.” I looked down at her hand then back at her.
“You tryna save this nigga, Tiomi?”
I just had to know. This is the second time she got in the way of me handling this nigga. The tears were still streaming down her face as she looked up at me with those green eyes. She wasn't playing fair because she knew I was a sucker for her and Jarae’s tears.
“I’m trying to save you, baby. We don’t know who has saw us, let’s just go home baby, please.”
My heart softened when she said home, shit ain't been right in my crib without her. I needed her and my baby there. I mean naw, me and her ain’t live together before, but I was gonna make them move in before she started acting like she wanted space. I only gave her that shit because I had some business and shit to handle out of town but now it was time to come home to daddy. I ran my hand over her cheek and got ready to respond until I was so rudely interrupted.
“Baby? You’re really sitting here defending this hoodlum, Tio?”
I froze. I know good and got damn well I ain’t hear this nigga right. Just in case I did I went ahead and put this Steve Urkel lookin’ muhfucka to sleep. Only reason I didn’t kill him right then and there is because I wanted to hurry and get her home, it’s been too fuckin’ long, but rest assured, he won’t make it through the week.
“Tio? You got this nigga calling the fuckin’ nickname I gave you?”
I looked at her in disgust and made my way out the door. Although I was pissed at her, I still waited by the passenger door to let her in, she was right on my heels, she knew better than tocheck on that nigga. I went ahead and hit my people to grab her whip and bring it back to my house. I wanted to get my baby and go straight home, I had to put this girl in her muhfuckin’ place for the last time.
I had just had the movers put the last of Tiomi’s things on the truck, when her Lexus turned into the driveway. I went ahead and prepared myself for the attitude she was about to give me.
“What the hell are you doing, Jawan?” she asked walking up on the porch. I pulled her into my arms so I could kiss her lips.
“What you think I’m doing, Baby? I told you I wanted you and Rae with me, every day. You were taking too long to make that move.”
Those were facts too. That and the fact that I recently got word that there was a snake in my camp. A few weeks ago, I met with this nigga name Turbo in Houston because he wanted to work for me, you know expand shit, but I got sneaky vibes from him, so naturally I turned him down. Not even a week later, my drop was snatched up and unaccounted for. I’m not a man that believes in coincidences, so I’m taking the necessary steps to secure my family and ruin somebody else’s.
“Jawan, you promised me that you’d give me a chance to think about it.” She pouted, looking up at me with those pretty ass eyes. Smiling, I kissed the corner of her mouth.
“I did give you time babe, a whole ass week, that was pretty generous if you ask me. Plus, what I look like having you in this crib that another nigga got for you?”
Nope, if that nigga popped up on my bitch one more time, with or without my permission, I was gone put him to sleep,permanently. Rolling her eyes and walking into the house to do a final walkthrough, she continued to fuss.
“I was going to say yes anyway, stupid.” That brought a laugh out of me, I thought it was so cute that her pretty ass thought she had an option. Seeing that this shit was happening no matter what, she fell in line and helped me direct the movers with the rest of this shit.
Hearing my baby screaming at the top of her lungs brought me outta a good ass sleep. I took the day off to help Tio finish unpacking and get some QT in with my girls. Her ass had so much shit in that house, that she was still unpacking three days later. Getting up and relieving my bladder, I made my way into the living room. Tio was bouncing Rae in her arms trying to get her to chill, while Granny sat there and talked shit about Tiomi babying her.
“Rae Rae, why you in here giving your mama all this trouble? Look at her, you’re too pretty to be making all that noise, and your mama too fine to be stressed out.”
Grabbing her out her mama’s arms, tickling her tummy, I said, “Huh, Rae Rae? Why you not being a big girl like daddy told you?” I asked her, while she was laughing and wiggling in my arms.
“I think she’s sleepy. Granny had her outside all morning, so I believe she’s tired herself out. She is fighting it though,” Tio said to me, looking tired her damn self.
Nodding my head and pulling her into my side, I replied, “I think both of y’all need a nap. You look tired as fuck. I can't be having my girl with no wrinkles and shit.” Pushing me off of her,she rolled her eyes and walked past me and upstairs more than likely to our room.
“When Star gettin' here, Granny? Rae's party is tomorrow, and I want her ass to be there.” Sucking her teeth, she responded.
“What I tell you about cussing me JJ? Your sister is already here, she’s getting settled at the hotel.” The mention of a hotel made me scrunch my face up.
“The fu— why she staying at a hotel? I got plenty of room and so do you.”
Shaking her head, she said, “Yeah I know but you know her husband don’t wanna stay at my house because it’s in the hood, so he calls it, and you’re not the nicest person to him, JJ.”
Sucking my teeth, I said, “Yeah because he a hoe ass nigga, Granny. Let me put the baby to sleep then I’m going to this so-called hotel. Star got me fucked up.”
I didn’t even give her a chance to fuss about me cussing, I went upstairs to rock my baby to sleep and text my sister.
