How’s the ride?
Felix
Long. Boring. Teddy is passed out beside me. No one wants to entertain me tonight.
Me
I’m entertaining you.
Felix
Yeah, but you’re holding out on me.
Me
You’ve seen me in a dress before.
Felix
Your point?
Me
Should have taken a photo then.
Felix
Good idea. Next time you’re over, how about you pose for a few in the dress and then slowly take it off. You, topless, sprawled out on my bed, pretty dress on the floor. *groan*
Me
Sorry, you’re gonna have to memorize that image if you want it to last.
Felix
Already done, babe. Already done.
I fall asleep at some point during our texting and wake up to knocking on my window.
“It’s me, hot stuff,” Felix calls through the glass.
I push my messy hair out of my face and walk over to let him in.
“Is this a thing now?” My voice is rough with sleep.
“I didn’t want to wake up the whole house,” he says as he climbs inside and pulls the window shut behind him.
“Just me?”
“Just you.” His hair is messy and the Valley U football T-shirt he’s wearing is wrinkled. He still looks insanely handsome.
He plops down on my bed, then blows out a breath and rolls his neck. “I am beat.”
“I bet.” I lie down next to him. “Not that I’m complaining, but uh, why are you here?”
He lets his head fall so our faces are only inches apart. “I was hoping I was going to catch you in that sexy dress you were taunting me with.”
I glance down at my sleep shorts and tank. “Sorry to disappoint.”
