Before I have time to process anything, there’s a very impressive bulged pressed against the inseam of my leggings.
“Yes,” I repeat. My hips start moving against him, and I dry hump him with absolutely zero shame.
“You’re so damn sweet,” Cal mumbles in between breathless kisses.
I can’t get enough of this or him. My hands go straight for his head, loving the way his hair curls right at the ends, allowing my fingers to sink and grab at the nape of his head.
When he lifts the bottom of my shirt, and the tips of his fingers make contact with my overly sensitive skin for the first time, I gasp for air and wrap my legs around his waist, bringing him closer, the bulge in his jeans pressing more into my core.
At this point, I am ready to just beg him to take me. I know that I’ll never have the opportunity to do this with Cal. It seems to be some weird lack of judgement on both our parts, something that I am more than okay taking advantage of.
I decide here and now, that if this is the last thing I do, I don’t care. Cal Prentice has been my crush since forever. I don’t have to speak to him again. After all, I’ve managed to avoid him for all these years, and…
“I’m back, honey,” a voice calls from somewhere out in the back just as I am moaning around Cal’s tongue. It is shoved so far down my throat, I can feel it in places where I want it to be.
“I am so happy I got to see the little munchkin,” the voice continues, and now I am confused.
Out of nowhere, Cal lets go of me and steps back. I whimper, arms stretched out, ready to bring him back to me.
“Nancy’s back,” he smiles at me.
My head feels fuzzy and unable to process what he’s saying. He looks so unaffected when he moves closer to the wall and leans his shoulder against it, like he’s got no worries in the world.
I blink and shake my head, trying my best to recover, but I can feel my pulse still racing through my veins, and throbbing from in between my legs.
“Cal!”
My one and only employee walks from the back room. She has a key to that door, so that’s how she must’ve gotten in. Actually, that would be the only way to come in other than the front door.
“I haven’t seen you in so long! And now twice in one day!”
Nancy rushes to give Cal a hug. She’s always liked him, and so did my grandmother when she was alive.
“Nancy,” he returns her hug. I watch in fascination how she blushes under his gaze. That’s how I must look too every time he glances my way. “How was lunch with the family?”
Nancy grins at him, her wrinkled face looking years younger all of a sudden.
“It was good, honey. So happy they drove out this way to see me.”
She then turns to look at me, her eyes going over me in confusion.
“Evie, my word,” she presses a hand to her chest. “What are you doing up on the counter? And your leggings are all wet!”
I look down, just realizing that I am still sitting on the counter where we cash out our customers, right next to the register where Cal plopped me earlier while he was kissing the life out of me.
My leggings are soaked on one side, but more so in between my legs.
“Uh…” I am at a loss for words.
“Cal,” she calls out next. “What happened to your jeans?”
I glance at my partner in crime, and I notice the large spot on his jeans. Earlier, I accused him of… Oh no! My embarrassment knows no limits right now.
“Evie attacked me with a vase.”
“What?” My voice comes out more like a squeak. “I did no such thing!”
Nancy puts her arms out.
