Floor seven.Almost heaven.
As the door slides open, I hear the sudden laughter of more than one person. Parker looks over my shoulder and assesses the situation. He quickly pulls my skirt out of the waistband. Shit! My ass was exposed!
Without hesitation I turn and walk out, eyes down. But I can see two couples as they pass and enter the elevator. Following me out, Parker chuckles under his breath.
“Have a good evening,” he says to my surprise audience.
“We knowyouwill,” a male voice responds.
As soon as the doors close, we’re laughing. Good thing I don’t know these people. Unfortunately, they know something about me.
“Sorry. I should have thought about that,” Parker says, taking my hand.
But he doesn’t give me time to respond. I’m pressed against the wall, hands above my head. Kisses travel from earlobe to shoulder. He brings a hand under my skirt. Oh yes.
“Let me touch you. The room’s too far away.”
My lifted eyebrow encourages him. I hold up the black and red layers to reveal my red lace thong.
“Is this what you’re after?” I purr.

Shit! The other elevator’s about to open. Parker stands while I smooth my dress. When an older couple gets out and heads down the hallway in the opposite direction, Parker takes me by the hand.
“Let’s quit fucking around.”
As we head for his room, I feel his eyes on me.
“What?” I say.
“Nothing.”
He’s smiling when he says it, indicating it’s something.
In return I’m smiling too.
“What?” he says chuckling.
“Nothing.”
He smiles. “Doesn’t nothing feel great?”
