“I’d never dream of it, darling.” He’s out of breath. I know he’s exhausted, but I need him so much it hurts. “Shit. Shit! Gonna come!” He shouts and fills me with his knot.
My head drops back to the cabinet behind me. His knot. I love his knot. I’ll take it every day if I can. If he’ll let me. Is it even possible?
He strokes my cock, sending me over the edge. My body hums with pleasure. Intuitively, I know my heat’s over and for some reason I’m sad about it.
Alfie pulls me off the counter and takes me with him to the bathroom for our last clean up. His knot doesn’t last long and I drop to my own feet just as the water heats.
“I get heat drop,” I admit, as he’s scrubbing my hair.
“I’ll take care of you, I promise.” He kisses my nose.
We wrap up our shower without any sexy fun, not that either of us have it in us. He pats me dry and leads me to our bedroom where he’s already changed the bedding, thank goodness. He sets me on the edge.
“Stay right there.”
I wait and he’s back with a case of bottle water and a sandwich for each of us.
“Eat up, then we’re cuddling. Yolanda might need to work on her own a few extra days. We both need the rest.”
I nod. “I usually go right back to work, but my heat has never been so thoroughly satisfied either.” I give him a shy grin before biting into my sandwich.
“My pleasure.”
“You’re not too exhausted?” I’m afraid of the answer, but I know he won’t lie to me.
“It’s a good exhausted. I feel like I helped you and that makes me feel like a king.”
I drop my sandwich to the plate and lunge at him. “You’re amazing. I don’t even know how to express how much I appreciate what you did for me.”
“I’m your alpha, Pisces. I’ll do anything to make you happy and make sure you’re healthy.”
I squeeze him tight and go back to my food. “Thank you for this.” I lift the sandwich.
“Anything for my omega.”
When we’re cuddled together under the covers, I can’t get close enough and whine. Even my bunny whines. He hasn’t been out for days.
“Sweetie, I think you need to get the zoomies out now,” Alfie laughs.
“I do,” another whine. “But I just wanna cuddle with you, too.”
“That fresh box of Timothy hay got here yesterday while you were asleep. How about I go fill your hay box and you play with Harold and get all the bunny bounces out?”
I don’t even answer, I just shift. He chuckles and pushes to his feet. I bounce off the bed and Harold must sense I’m a rabbit now because he zooms into the room and runs around me. Harold loves playing with my rabbit and my rabbit loves playing with him.
I hop after him to the living room where Alfie tosses the Timothy hay into my enrichment box. He holds some out for me to nibble from him and chuckles the closer I get to his fingers. He’s safe from me biting him now, though. That first time I was scared of him, even if I thought he was handsome. I hop around him, rubbing my head against his ankle, before I jump into my box to root around.
My rabbit munches on all the hay Alfie filled the box with and we root around for other treats he slipped in. Like bananas. I freaking love bananas.
Alfie watches me from the couch with the biggest grin. At least until he falls asleep. Once my rabbit has his fill of play and hay, I hop into Alfie’s lap, needing to be close again.
When I text Yolanda hours later, she calls me instead of texting back.
“Pisces, why don’t you take the next three days off. The first heat with your fated is intense and you both need rest. You told me about your experiences at the heat clinics and I know Alfie has to be done in. You’re insatiable.”
I give Alfie a glance, he rolls his eyes. “I’m fine, Yolanda.”
“That may be true now, but your legs will give out tomorrow if you try to do too much. Believe me, I know. Don’t worry. The shop’ll be here when you get back. But I don’t expect to see you for three more days.”
