I snort. Maddie has always been a handful the few times I met her. But that’s what makes her fun.

Yuri nods down the hall. “Wanna come with us?”

“I’m waiting to meet Trevor. We need to talk before joining everyone.”

“We’ll see you there.”

My stomach jumps around like it’s full of frogs. I haven’t met a new Little to play with in so long. Do I even remember how to negotiate?

Every new pair that comes through makes another stomach frog jump around. That is untilheshows up. I let out a breath.

Trevor.

Instantly, I know. He’s not dressed as a Little, but he has a rainbow backpack and he’s clutching a pink raccoon stuffie. The raccoon gives him away after the picture with all the outfits he sent me.

“Trevor?” I wave and I meet his eyes when he looks up at me. Poets could write sonnets about his eyes. Beautiful blue gray rimmed with dark curled lashes.

Slowly, his plush lips pull into a beautiful boyish grin, and he whispers my name as if he’s waited his whole life to say it. His eyes dart to the teddy on my shoulder and he giggles. That sound shoots right to my heart. I already know I cherish this man.

I hold out my hand. “I reserved a dressing room for us.”

He nibbles on his bottom lip. “I don’t need help to get ready.” The words are so soft.

“Oh, no, sweetheart. We need to talk before we go play with everyone, if you’re okay with that. Just the basics. Likes, dislikes, limits.”

“Oh! Yes, that makes sense.” He looks at my hand and back at my face before taking my offering. “I’ve never had a Daddybefore. Or a Mommy. I’m not really picky, I don’t think, but no one’s really worked out. I was in negotiations with a Mommy a couple years ago, but she wanted to be sexual and I wasn’t into that.” He stops and looks at me. “I don’t do sex stuff in my Little space. It doesn’t bother me if other people do it, that’s what they like, but Little time for me is to not be Big. And sex feels Big to me.”

My heart soars. “Thank you for telling me. I’d never do anything you don’t want in Little space. I do like to bathe my Littles, but not if they don’t like it.”

“I don’t know if I’d like it or if my brain would think it was too Big because I’d be naked. I get weird about being naked around people.” He tugs his hand from mine. “I’m a weirdo.” His breathing picks up, and he squeezes his eyes closed.

“Hey, hey. Trevor, it’s okay. I promise. And you’re not a weirdo. Right now, we’re just going to talk about tonight. Nothing more unless you want to. No one’s getting naked. We’re not having sex. We’re going to go to the playroom and have a blast with our friends, okay? Doesn’t that sound like fun?”

He nods, but doesn’t open his eyes yet.

“Can you open your eyes for me?”

“Sorry. Sorry.” Trevor blinks a few times and looks at me. He’s not a short guy, we’re about evenly matched height wise somewhere around six foot. He’s slim fit and I hope to learn more about him if not tonight, then later.

We continue to the dressing room, and I wave for him to enter. It’s a nice spacious place, with an adult sized changing table for those that use diapers.

“I don’t wear diapers, but I like training pants,” he offers as he sets his backpack on the small table in the corner next to a bench. “I don’tusethem, but they help me get into the right headspace when I’m frustrated.”

I sit on the bench, and he hops onto the changing table so we can face each other.

“What would you like to explore tonight?” I ask and lean in.

“I don’t know? I know Maddie’s Mommy gets her juice and pets her head and watches her from a distance when we’re all together. Bel’s Daddy likes to play with us. I like that a lot. I think I like hands on, but I don’t know.” He squeezes the edge of the changing table and kicks his legs. “I just…” He sighs and I want to pull him into my lap to help him relax. “I don’t want to think. I want to play or listen to a story. I love cuddles with my friends, but…” His eyes flick up to meet mine. “I’d love to crawl into one of the big rocking chairs with a Daddy and listen to a story. I’d probably fall asleep, but I don’t think I’d care. But don’t let me sleep for longer than twenty minutes if that happens.” He giggles again. “What doyouwant out of tonight?”

I don’t know why the hell it throws me that he asks the question back, but it does. My mouth opens then closes and his lips quirk into a cute little smile, like he’s examining me as much as I’m examining him.

“I need to take care of someone tonight.”

“And I need to be taken care of.” He grins and his stomach growls. His eyes go wide and he smacks his hands to his tummy. “I meant to grab something to eat on the way here, but I wanted to get here more.” He ducks his head.

“Do you want to be fed or do you feed yourself when you’re Little?”

“No one’s fed me before. I might want to explore the highchairs in the Little kitchen.” Trevor’s face turns bright red in splotches and it’s so endearingly adorable.
