Shane slid out of the booth.“No one has chlamydia.She’sbeing a territorial chick.She didn’t want those women hitting on us.Shewanted to keep her options open.”

Sawyer snorted.“Then everyone has chlamydia, Brooke.Girl,don’t do this.Say what you want, take it, and get it out of your system.Noone will think less of you.”
Shane didn’t like how that sounded.He didn’t want to be outof her system.He hadn’t known he was in it.Shouldn’t he have enjoyed thatmore?

She started walking for the door.
Bay looked at him as he slid out of the booth.“It’s a goodthing she thinks we have an STI?”

Bay nodded and rushed to get to the door.
“This is going to be fun,” Sawyer said with a grin that litup his usually grim expression.
He wasn’t sure what the guy meant by that since they weregoing to see the lady home and ensure her safety and that was all.They hadabout fifteen minutes to convince her they would be fun to spend time with.Alunch.Then dinner maybe.Or drinks first and that could slide into dinner ifshe wanted.

Brooke frowned Shane’s way.“I am fairly certain it’simportant to the koala bears.The sweet, cuddly bears.”
Bay shook his head.“Yeah, they’re more than cuddly.They’rekind of nature’s pervs.Like if Stef before Jen had been a bear, he would havebeen a koala.”
