He placed his hand over her mound, rubbing her lightly, but he couldn’t get his hand between her thighs to properly play with her.

“You’re doing so well,” he told her.

Warmth filled her as he continued to praise her while undoing the ropes. When he finally released her, she found herself caught up against his chest and carried until she was laid down on something. A couch?

Then his touch left her and she let out a cry.

“Shh, baby. I’m not going anywhere. I’m just going to wrap you up in a blanket. Here, let me take the ball.” He slid the ball from her hand. Huh, she hadn’t realized she was still holding that.

The blanket was so warm and soft and it felt really soothing against her skin. But then his touch left her and this wave of vulnerableness washed over her. She felt the ridiculous urge to cry.

“I’m going to remove the blindfold now.”

No, no! Then he’d see her tears.

But she couldn’t seem to voice her objection and when the blindfold was removed, tears started streaming down her cheeks.

“Oh, baby. It’s intense, isn’t it? It’s okay. I’m here. I’m going to keep you safe.”

Suddenly, she was lifted, blanket and all and then she was sitting on his lap. His arms tightened around her, holding her.

“You’re all right, baby. I have you. You’re safe. Nothing is going to touch you.”

She felt better being held tight by him. It didn’t feel like she was in freefall anymore with no way of catching herself.

Warm lips were pressed to her forehead and she turned her head, burying her face in his chest as she let go and cried. She wasn’t sure how long she sat there, crying, but by the time she had finished she was spent. Exhausted.

Shoot.

That had been a lot. And she couldn’t believe how she’d fallen apart like that.

“Here, baby. I have some water for you. Open up.”

Turning her head, she opened her mouth and let him give her a drink of water much like a baby. Then he slid some chocolate between her lips and she sucked on it.

“Hey, tidied up the area for you.”

She blinked up at Rusty as he approached, then crouched in front of her.

“Thanks, man,” Travis said. “I’m going to take her upstairs.”

Rusty gave her another look. “You good?”

“Yeah. Sorry,” she whispered croakily.

“Nothing for you to be sorry for.” Rusty disappeared and Travis stood and carried her out of the room.

“Close your eyes, baby,” he instructed.

She did as ordered as she didn’t really want to see anyone and she was still feeling a bit disjointed and strange.

Then she was laid down and she opened her eyes, glancing around. The room was almost romantic looking. There was soft lighting and she was lying on a four-poster bed with a white sheet on top of the mattress. It might have been like any other bedroom if it wasn’t for the steel rings she could see that were obviously used for tying someone to the bed.

As she spotted them a wave of interest hit her.

Travis lay next to her and used some tissues to clean her up.

“That hit you hard, didn’t it?”
