“I – I don’t want the toy right now. I want you.”

We both sighed happily when hefinallysunk into me. He might’ve won the battle, but we’dbothwon the war.

With each of our gazes focussed on where we were joined, Will began rocking mercilessly. The height difference didn’t make shower sex the easiest though, so when I looped my arms around his neck, Will took the prompt and scooped me into his arms.

With my legs hooked around his body in a vice-like-grip, I took control. He was able to loosen his hold, and taking it to his full advantage, he reached around and dragged the vibrator down the length of my spread ass cheeks.Fuck.I hadn’t been expecting that, and I certainly hadn’t been expecting it to feelthatgood.

I loved having sex with Will. Though right now I felt like I was fucking him more than he was fucking me. I was riding him like this was life and death. Like the fate of the entire world rested on how deep I took him.

The built-up sensations finally reached breaking point. I screamed out so loudly I feared the shower screen was going to crack.

Will’s eyes smouldered as he pulled back to watch me. His mouth was so close to mine, our lips barely apart that if I moved the slightest fraction, we’d be kissing.

Though before I could bridge the gap he threw his head back, his own climax shattering through his body. It took more than a minute for us to float back down to earth. That had been... there were no words.

Will slipped out of me before setting me on my feet. It was only then that I realised we hadn’t used a condom. Had that been why it felt so good? Because Will was an extension of me and the world was right when we were together?

His eyebrows lowered. “Are you still...”

I nodded. I took the pill each morning. We weren’t at risk of any lifechanging blunders coming from that. Thoughthatwould have almost been worth it. Just when I thought things with Will couldn’t get any hotter, he found a way to surprise me.

Absentmindedly he set the vibrator down and reached for the bodywash once more. This time his movements weren’t seductive, but tender. I watched him with lazy eyes as his large hands roamed over my body.

“Can I ask you a question?”

He smiled. “You don’t need to check, Dover.”

“Do your friends know about this?”

He raised his gaze to meet mine. “No. Do yours?”

“No.”

Lifting my arm, he dragged his hands all the way to my wrist. Upon seeing the tattoo there, he stilled. Before he could get too good of a look, I subtly pulled away, hiding it behind my back.

“Keeping us a secret?” I teased.

Hypocritical I know, given none of my friends knew about this new arrangement. But knowing Will was sneaking around to see me didn’t feel great either.

“A secret? No. Just hasn’t come up.” His grey eyes remained fixated on my skin. “A word of warning though, it mightn’t stay that way if you tell Grace anything. Whatever you tell her gets filtered straight to Levi.”

I laughed lightly. “I still find it crazy that Holloway has a girlfriend. I’ve always known him to only love himself and hockey.”

Will’s beefy chest was irresistible with water dripping down it and steam floating off his shoulders. I placed my hands on his torso, practically salivating as his muscles clenched beneath my fingertips.

“He still loves those things,” Will said softly. “But he loves Hughesy more.”

CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

Watching bad movies with you

RILEY

There was something different about a Saturday night home game. Particularly when you walked away with the win. The whole team had gelled tonight, playing like they were all in the same mind.

Will had been especially good too. I know I was biased, but it was true. He was amazing to watch on the ice. Skilful. Resourceful. Smart. Hot as all hell. Not that the latter made a difference to his game, but it was worth mentioning.

Right now he was on the far side of the bar, leaning against the pool table while he talked to some teammates. His eyes kept roaming to where I was sitting in a booth with Parker and Beth.
