“Slash can wait. I can spend a few hours with you, fuck him,” he murmured, leaning down to kiss my lips softly. “Stay at mine tonight?”
“You want me to?”
“I do.”
“Did Skeeter Maddox catch feelings?” I teased, but the hope in my voice gave me away. The thought made me stupidly happy.
He nipped my lip sharply before switching the water off and cracking a hand against my ass.
“You’re more than a fuck to me, you know that.”
“Would it kill you to say the words though?” I asked dryly as we stepped out to grab towels, and he shot me a dirty look.
“I like sleeping beside you. Leave it at that and do with that information as you will. Get dressed before I bend you over the fucking sink.”
I grinned, making him roll his eyes as we got dried and dressed before walking down to the kitchen to find Caden already at the table. He’d made us coffee, well, he’d gotten the staff to make them, and he gave Skeeter an annoyed look.
“I figured you wanted all the good shit, so I asked the chef to make a bunch of stuff for breakfast. You’re welcome.”
“Now I see why you like the rich pricks. These perks I could get used to,” Skeeter replied as he gave me a wink and sat at the table, reaching for his coffee to take a sip.
Caden flipped him off and I sat between them, the food arriving shortly after and ending any banter between the guys. Skeeter happily piled his plate up with way too much eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and Caden put some of everything on a plate and handed it to me.
“Such a gentleman,” I deadpanned, and he snorted.
“If you think this is me being a gentleman, your standards are way too low. It’s just polite.”
“It’s not like you to be polite,” Skeeter grumbled as he shoveled food into his mouth.
Skeeter was raised like me, every man for himself. He didn’t think about feeding me first because he’d only ever had to think of himself.
Unlike Caden, who had a loving mom and knew the food wasn’t likely to run out.
“Thanks,” I said with a small smile, grabbing a fork and started to eat.
We’d just finished eating when Tyler arrived with Jensen, the latter looking like he’d barely slept. I didn’t even think about it as I got to my feet and walked towards him, placing a hand on his chest.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
“Just shit with Luke. I’ll tell you later,” he mumbled, sliding an arm around my waist to pull me close. “How are you?”
It was obvious the guys hadn’t been gossiping, and Skeeter seemed surprised that Caden obviously hadn’t told everyone what had happened. Tyler’s gaze ran over me with concern but he didn’t say anything, the pity in his eyes telling me that he knew what had happened last night.
I glanced back at Skeeter and he stared right back, but after a moment, he nodded and went back to his breakfast. I had no idea if that was permission to tell the guys I’d committed murder again, thanks to his boss, but I’d roll with it.
“Where’s Luke? I want to tell you guys something,” I stated, making Jensen wince.
“He’s at his place. His mom flipped out at school yesterday, so he’s a little sensitive right now. He won’t speak to anyone, especially not me.”
“Why not you?”
“Half the school thinks we’re fucking now, thanks to his mother. She had a massive rant in front of everyone. Thinks he hasn’t been home because he’s too busy fucking me,” he sighed, and Skeeter chuckled.
“You’d be the one doing the fucking. He’d bottom for sure.”
“Would you shut up?” I snapped, his amusement only growing.
“Only if you sit that pussy on my face and give me something better to do with my mouth.”
