He took her hand, brought it to his lips and kissed herknuckles.
“Yes, Scott.” After hearing that, and seeing how he looked with so much love in his eyes, ‘yes’ had to be theanswer.
“Oh, God.” He pressed his lips together and gazed up at her with his bright blue eyes that she could almost dive into. “Babydoll…” He stood up and took her into his arms, once again holding her close to his heart. “I’m never letting you go again. Never. And I will always make sure you know every day how much you mean to me and how much I loveyou.”
She believed him. “Andme?”
“No, Babydoll. You don’t have to do anything else. You always showedme.”
She leaned into the kiss he gave her, relishing the difference in how they felt. “I love you,Scott.”
“And I love you,Abi.”
