He placed a tender kiss on her lips that made her feel whole, but as he slowed she thought ofGlenn.
She stepped out of his embrace and brought her handstogether.
“I’m going to speak to Glenn,” shestated.
“Mia, you don’t have to go see him. I don’t want to cause more contention betweenyou.”
“The damage is already done. It’s done, and I’m so furious.” She pulled in a breath to steady heremotions.
“Let me come withyou.”
“No. This has to be me. I have to do this.” She had to. She needed to confront Glenn by herself. She had to sort this out once and forall.
