He sucked at the skin just above my breast. That was criminal. I writhed against him.

“I know,” he breathed. “I had to keep thinking of my best friend’s grandma to keep my dick down. I need my fill of you so hockey doesn’t break my dick.” He tugged down my shorts. My thong. “Right here. This exact angle. I want to go as deep as possible. Can I?”

I tightened my legs around him before relaxing and letting him pull my clothes off. As we parted a moment, I pulled him out of his pants.

He did me one better, shoving his pants and boxer briefs off and then stepping completely out of them. His eyes darkened as he took in that I was wearing his jersey.

I felt a little shy. “I can’t wear it at the game so…” I began to pull it off.

He stopped me. “I want to fuck you in it.”

“Oh.” That sent a surge of heat through me. I felt a little dizzy.

His hand fisted in his jersey. “Can I?”

I nodded, losing the ability to talk for a second.

“Condom or?—”

“Are you negative?”

He nodded, his eyes full of need.

I licked my lips, suddenly parched. “I’m on the patch too.”

His eyes flared. “Baby,” he said quietly, and that was a caress all by itself. He closed the distance and for a moment, we just stood there.

Some sort of tenderness swirled in me, making me feel wonderful.

But then I shut it down and reached for him. “I want you to come inside of me.”

His eyes went black, and a second later, he thrust up into me. I’d never felt as full as I did then. I wrapped myself around him and whispered, “Fuck megood.”

TYLER

After I felt Rain shatter in my arms and released inside of her for the second time that night, I pulled out gingerly and rolled to my back, my chest heaving.

Damn. I was never going to get better sex than this. I already knew that, because it was Rain. It was because of the way I felt about her. That terrified me. Something was happening to me, but I couldn’t face it. I wasn’t ready yet. Once I did, nothing would be the same.

Because of that, I forced myself to get up.

Rain looked over at me. “You’re leaving?”

I smiled at her, brushing a thumb over her forehead and smoothing her hair back. “I don’t want to rock the boat. Better if I don’t stay. This way, we can get a little sleep.”

Her face fell, but she nodded. “Oh. Okay. Yeah. Good call.”

I went to the bathroom to clean up. When I came back, she hadn’t moved except to pull the blanket over herself.

I tried to tell myself that was okay. It was normal for her to cover herself. Maybe she was cold. But my gut flared. I didn’t like that she’d hidden herself from me. Notme. I pulled my clotheson, and she didn’t say a word as I dressed. When I turned to her, she wasn’t looking at me.

Concerned, I approached the bed. There was a vacant look in her eyes. “You okay?”

She blinked, and it was gone. “Yeah, yeah. All good. I’ll see you on the plane tomorrow.”

I cocked my head to the side.
