Though Bailey didn’t say anything, she smiled while shaking her head. As she used one hand to dragged, the car into reverse, she pointed at me with the other until I stepped away from the window. I laughed while watching her reverse from the front yard, turned down the hill and drove away.
Our interaction made me smile as I entered the house and closed the door behind me. I stopped to ensure it was locked then headed for the controls for the A/C.
The next day was long. I woke up at the ass-crack of dawn and went for a run. Then after showering and having a quick, light breakfast, Justice picked me up. I was happy to see Jasmine hadn’t backed out and was actually the first person there, waiting.
We went through endurance training first, then weapons.
With training over, Justice handed me the keys to my very own ride. I wasn’t sure I wanted to be driving in Jamaica. I’d heard horror stories, but I didn’t really have a choice. Justice couldn’t drive me around all the time.
“We’re going out tonight.” Justice wrapped and arm around my shoulder. “Remember those parties I told you about?”
I nodded.
“We goin’.”
“Sir, yes sir.”
Justice laughed. “Think you’ll be okay driving home?”
“Of course.”
He walked me to the black jeep I’d be using, and I climbed in. After making plans for the night, I pulled from the secured base and with the help of the GPS, found my way to my place without incident. I wandered around the place, snacking, bathing, dressing. I wasn’t paying attention to the time but eventually, a horn honked in the front yard. When I glanced through the window, I laughed.
I quickly grabbed my wallet and phone, checked my hair in a nearby mirror and hurried out to greet Justice.
The party wasn’t like anything I’d ever been to. It wasn’t really a venue. All the dancing happened outside. Two massive speakers were set up close to the hut, blasting reggae a little louder than I would have liked.
At some point, someone tapped me on my shoulder, and I turned to see Bailey.
Oh. Sweet. Baby. Jesus!
Her red romper was a short, exposing her chocolate thighs. It hugged her curves and fell off her shoulders.
I wrapped an arm around her waist then leaned in to speak in her ear. “You look beautiful.”
“You say the sweetest things.” Bailey braced a palm to my chest to reply.
“Dance with me.”
“What do you know about dancing to reggae?”
I laughed softly. “I guess we’re about to find out.”
When she nodded, I turned to tell Justice. But it seemed he already knew. He winked at me and I allowed Bailey to lead me through a group of people to an empty spot. With one hand around her hips, I drew her into my body, as close as I’d hold a lover. I then allowed my body to tell me how to move with her.
Bailey turned around, pressing her back to my chest, her ass in my crotch and writhed to the music. Bowing my head to rest my lips on her bare shoulder, I grooved with her, feeling her body and the beats taking me to a place where I lost my mind.
At the end of the song, she turned in my arms, but stayed close. “Tell me you don’t want to kiss me now.”
I gave in.
Kissing her was like tasting the sun. But instead of bursting into flames, her taste drew me in, but I remained whole. I deepened the kiss, allowing her tongue to swirl around mine before she sucked it into her mouth.
Someone bounced into us and I lifted my head to shield her with my body.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
“Sorry—kneejerk reaction.”
