When Elijah says it, I know it’s a playful joke, but when it’s coming from her, well, it makes me a little hard…

“Why do you want to know?” Tilly’s voice is light and amused by whatever Elijah’s asking her.
“Because you said you need money for college, and I get this sense that you’re a fair maiden with all her goods intact. And if that’s true, it’s also something a lot of men will pay dearly for.”What the fuck am I hearing right now?
I get out of my chair and move closer to the door to listen in. I’m not normally an eavesdropper, but if Elijah is suggesting what I think he’s suggesting, I’m about to lose my ever-loving mind.
“I am not selling my virginity, Elijah. That’s just craz— Holy shit. Is that how much they pay?” I peek around the door, spotting Elijah with his phone held up for her to see.
“Just for the honor of breaking through your barrier.” He turns the screen back to face him. “Should I sign you up?”
“Um...Wow. Maybe. No. I don’t know. It’s kind of a big deal.”She’s not actually considering this?
“Yes, but it’sonenight, and no one’s first time is any good, anyway. You may as well get paid for the discomfort. You’ll get that pesky hymen out of the way then you’ll have your money, and you can fix your carandstart college in the fall. And since you’re going to community college, you’ll still get the benefit of working here withmoi.”
“I don’t know, Elijah. I kinda wanted to do it my first time with someone special.”Good. That’s how it should be.
“It will be special because you’ll receive a bankroll of cash at the end of it. What if I just sign you up and we’ll see who bites? If you change your mind, we cancel the listing.”
“Meaning I don’t have to go through with it?”
“No harm, no foul.”
“Well, OK. I guess it won’t hurt to see…”
