I smile, and my heart rate picks up in a good way. “I’ve never felt this type of love, and now I have it five times over. This isn’t where I ever saw my life going.”
“Shadow for the fucking win,” Evie says. “I’m so glad he met you because that means we get you in our lives too.”
“Hear, hear,” Bridget says, holding her glass up for us to clink ours against it. “Not only did you tame the infamous Saviors, but you also made three best friends as well.”
My heart twists a little at that, making me think about Amber. I’ve barely heard from her since I stood her up at my apartment, which doesn’t look good. All signs are now glowing and pointing at her to be the traitor. I look around at the three girls sitting around me and feel that peace with the friendship that I never really felt with Amber. These girls would go to hell and back for each other. Now I’ll do it for them. “I’m glad I have you guys too.”
We sip our drinks, talk, laugh, and gossip about the guys. I now know more than I ever thought possible about their sex lives, but I love every minute of it. We’re getting tipsy when the first voice filters through the laptop.
“In position.”
“Damn, Dex’s voice is sexy,” Les says. “Talk dirty to me.”
Evie starts dying laughing. “You would shit if they could hear you.”
“We’re about ten minutes out,” Cole says.
“Fifteen,” Micah adds. “I’ll let you know when we’re ready to move.”
“Got it,” Zane answers. “I’m going to my perch now.”
“Oh, and Baby girl? We can hear you.”
Les clamps a hand over her mouth and falls back on the bed. “Holden didn’t tell us that part,” she explains.
“Probably for this reason right here,” Axel answers. “Cupcake?”
“I’m here.”
“Are you drunk?” he asks in amusement.
“Getting there,” I admit.
“Drink one for me,” Sean says. “I have a raging boner, and no one will take care of it for me.” Evie’s mouth drops open, and I shake my head.
“I will, Big boy,” Gage’s voice filters through.
“I’ll cut your fucking lips off if you bring them anywhere near him,” Axel says in a deadly tone.
“Do you know what it does to me when you get all possessive and shit?” Sean replies. I can practically see him fake swooning in the seat. “I kind of want you to bend me over the hood of the car.”
“Send a video!” I exclaim. All of us girls high-five and dissolve into laughter.
“You’ve got it, Gorgeous. I’ll make sure it’s a damn good angle.”
“Big Daddy! When you bring your sexy ass down from there, will you bend me over?” Gage says.
“Do you remember what happened last time you fucked with me over comms, Crazy boy?”
“Vividly. You spanked me and then fucked me so hard that I walked funny for a week.”
“And you loved it,” Leo says with a laugh. “All he’d have to do after that was rub his hand across your ass, and you were ready to go again.”
“I feel like I shouldn’t be in this conversation,” Nolan’s sweet voice comes through.
“Don’t act like you aren’t getting it more than us,” Gage says with a scoff. “My question is, have you fucked Kai yet? Because that’s a beast, I don’t know if it can be tamed.”
“He tamed it,” Kai answers, surprising me. He normally stays out of these conversations, but I’m happy to hear his voice.
