Tivon leans back in the chair, crosses his arms over his chest, and finally locks eyes with me. “I can’t?”

Something about his intense dark eyes throws me off, but I fight against it. “No. That’s not what we do. If you’re going to be a part of the Saviors, we don’t go alone.”

“Am I a part of the Saviors?”

Before I can answer, Jason comes outside with a bright smile. He kisses me on the lips. “How are you feeling?”

“Pretty good, Sweet cheeks.” I pull him down to whisper something in his ear, and his smile widens at my request. He gathers our plates, and to my surprise, kisses Tivon gently on the cheek, making the big guy blush.

“Breakfast was fantastic. I’ll be right back.”

Jason walks back into the house, Tivon’s eyes on him the whole way. When he finally looks at me and notices me watching him, he clears his throat, quickly looking away. So, Jason does have an effect on him.Smart man.Jason comes back, hands me what I asked for, and disappears back inside. I hand it to Tivon, making his eyes widen when he realizes what it is.

“That is much more than a mask. You’re committing to the Saviors when you put it on. I don’t know what your plans are when this is done, but my team seems to want you to stick around.” I blow a breath out. “And I do too. You stepped into my shoes when you didn’t have to. You could have dumped us here and kept your hands clean. You didn’t have to come save my ass in the first place.”

“Yes I did. Whether you see it or not, I owe you, Aryeh. I took my oath to protect you in Israel seriously. It doesn't just go away when you cross country lines.”

That’s when I see it. ThemoreTyler keeps talking about.

The question is, what the fuck am I going to do about it?

JASON

“We need to talk.”

I turn from the sink at the sound of Tyler’s voice and raise a brow. “About?”

“Tivon.”

“What about him?”

Tyler looks around to make sure we’re alone, and starts helping me wash dishes. “I need an honest answer. No bullshit. Do you think he’s hot?”

I laugh under my breath. “A blind man would find him hot. Why?”

“Because I think you’re going to be the one to get it through his thick fucking skull that he belongs here.”

“Why me?”

“I don’t know. I see the way he looks at you, and there's the way he stood up to Ari when he was treating you like shit.”

I shrug. “That doesn’t mean anything, Tyler.”

Tyler groans. “Don’t do this to me. I can’t be the only one who sees it.”

“See what?”

“He’s the missing piece, Jay.”

The plate that I was washing slips from my fingers and hits the water with a splash. “So I’m not crazy.” Tyler gives me a funny look and hands me the plate back. “I’ve felt this…connection to him. Especially since that day he made me leave the hospital. I kissed his cheek outside on impulse and there was this…” I trail off to wave my hand around and sling water all over Tyler, “spark.”

“I’m going to need you to work your magic with that sweet ass.” I can feel my face getting red and Tyler grins. “I know Ari is out of commission right now, so maybe Tivon can ease that ache.”

“Oh my God,” I groan, my face flaming hotter. “Stop.”

Tyler waggles his brows. “You’re thinking about it, aren’t you? I bet he could have you screaming his name.” This isn’t helping the fact that I do find Tivonreallyattractive. But how the hell would I bring up something like that to Ari? What Tyler is suggesting is insane. Tyler wipes the water from his hands and then slides one down my ass. “Maybe we can give everyone a little push.”
