“Have I done something to upset you?” he couldn’t help but ask, even as he bent over as Kian requested. There was a bottle of lube next to the plug, and Kian snatched it up, coating his fingers without an ounce of hesitation. He grinned, that sly delectable grin that Dorian knew meant good things were coming his way.

“Oh believe me, gorgeous, this isn’t a punishment. Not by a longshot.”

He didn’t wait for Dorian’s reply before pushing a finger inside him, making Dorian moan as he went straight for hisprostate. Pleasure overtook his mind, blocking out all higher thinking, and he gave in entirely, spreading his legs a little more and leaning his forehead on his arms on the counter.

“That’s it, gorgeous. Just relax. Let me take care of you,” Kian purred.

He allowed himself to just bask in his mate’s touch, his cock thickening quickly as Kian touched him exactly how he knew Dorian liked. He forgot entirely about the plug for a few moments, too distracted, but when Kian’s fingers left him and the silicone touched his rim, he tightened automatically, his cock twitching between his legs.

Kian’s chuckle was devious and sent a shiver up Dorian’s spine. “Relax. That’s it. Just like that.”

Dorian panted as Kian pushed the plug inside, slowly, until the flared base rested against his ass. It wasn’t overly large, just the right size to press against his prostate if he squirmed, but Dorian had never indulged in games like this in public. At least, not until he met Kian. There was that time at the car dealership…

Kian pressed a kiss to the small of his back, patting his hip gently to get him to stand again. The movement sent little shocks of pleasure through Dorian as the plug moved, and he whimpered when Kian readjusted his board shorts and pressed against his back, that wicked grin on his face.

“I’ve got a lot of plans for this week. By the end of it, you’ll be so relaxed and sated, you won’t want to go back to work.”

“I believe you,” Dorian replied breathlessly, melting a little at the way Kian’s smile brightened and a little of the love they shared overtook his face before the mischief came back.

“Let’s get going, then. I reserved a few loungers for us on the beach.” He glanced at the drink Dorian had forgotten, jerking his chin at it. “You should drink that. You’re going to need it.”

That was entirely likely, as Kian wasn’t willing to consider staying in the bungalow and just walking made Dorian want tosquirm. He grabbed the icy drink, taking a large swallow, and let Kian lead him out of the bathroom. There were sandals for him by the door, and as the alcohol settled in his system, always quick because of his physiology, Dorian decided to just enjoy himself. Kian had obviously put a lot of thought into this, and it would be rude to dismiss that.

Chapter Three

Kian saw a few abortive movements while they were walking along the beach that made him think Dorian was reaching for his phone out of habit, but he ignored it. His sexy vampire had stopped fighting him, and when he sat down on one of the loungers Kian had reserved, Dorian laid back and closed his eyes, giving into the vacation idea entirely. Kian sat on the edge of Dorian’s chair and was going to summon some sunblock, not wanting either of them to get burned, when a squeaky voice drew his attention.

“Mr. Kian. Would you like refills of your drinks?”

Kian glanced over his shoulder at the little kraken in the resort polo, a tray under one arm and an eager smile on his face. Dorian shifted to look at the newcomer, so Kian decided to make introductions.

“Dorian, this is Mickey. He’ll be our personal server this week.”

Mickey waved with a friendly smile but didn’t get any closer. Smart man. Mates were possessive and knowing Dorian’s current predicament made Kian feel a little feral at the thought of anyone touching his mate right now.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Dorian. We have some blood-based drinks available at the bar, if you’d like to see a menu. Would either of you like an umbrella? I can have one brought over. It’s best to use it when the sun is at its peak.”

Dorian looked curious about the drink options, so Kian put his hand out for the menu, nodding at his own mostly empty glass on the little table between his and Dorian’s loungers. One of Mickey’s tentacles stretched out, snatching up the glass, and he beamed brightly before scuttling off to get them an umbrella.

“A personal server?” Dorian queried with a raised eyebrow. “Did you really go all out for this?”

“I did,” Kian agreed. “With the help of your friends. The bungalow is a timeshare between Taron, Ozen, and Maverick, but–”

“And me,” Dorian corrected. “Though, I’ll admit I’ve never been. Harlem has used it a few times, though.”

Kian’s expression flattened. “You have a timeshare on a gorgeous beach, and you’ve never used it? How long have you had it?”

Dorian shrank a little, his expression sheepish. “I don’t want to answer that.”

Kian sighed heavily. “I’ve got my work cut out with you. Pick a drink. I need to put sun block on you, and I don’t want Mickey interrupting when I do.”

From the way Dorian’s dark brown eyes dilated, he knew why Kian wanted privacy. His gaze dropped to Kian’s mouth, and Kian was about to steal a kiss when Mickey popped back up, gesturing for a larger kraken to set up the umbrella near their loungers for a little shade. He swung his attention to Dorian, that eager smile unwavering.

“Have you decided on a drink, Mr. Dorian? Or do you need a few more minutes?”

Dorian’s gaze shifted to the menu he still hadn’t looked at yet. Unwilling to drag things out, Kian snatched it up, scanning the list and ordering for him. “He’ll have the Bloody Breeze. Don’t go heavy on the rum. I want him relaxed, not drunk.”

Mickey nodded seriously. “We’re always careful with our vampire customers not to offer too much. I’ll make sure it’s safe. Just a moment, I’ll return with your drinks.”
