“Gentleman? Nah. Never that. A gentleman would never take what he wants.” Sebastian pants in between thrusts and I close my eyes, tasting the blood in my mouth as I keep back the moans threatening to spill out. I can hear Jeremy shift in the chair, and I assume it’s away from me but I’ve stopped caring. “That’s why you, Jeremy Murray, failed to lock down the most perfect woman of your life in the ample amount of time you had. Fuck, babe, your pussy is so tight.”

“Oh god,” I cry out when he reaches between us, rubbing my clit while I push back into him, wanting his cock even deeper inside. “Please.”

“Please, what?” Sebastian says, pinching my clit and picking up the pace. My head is now bumping into the bottom cushion of the chair in front of me, and I can feel the fabric of Jeremy’s pants rubbing against the sides of my head. “Please come inside you? Put my baby in you?”

My pussy flutters as my orgasm rolls through me and Sebastian grunts, pushing his cock as far into me as he can get before it starts to throb. His warm cum fills me, and I moan at the sensation. “Fuck yes. So good, mon cœur.”

I shudder at his words, my body going limp as we start to fall from our high. Sebastian pulls out anddrags me back along the ottoman. My knees drop onto the floor, my body still too heavy to move properly as his fingers push into my pussy, pumping a few times. I tilt my head to the side and open my eyes as Sebastian leans against my back, holding his hand out. “Lick them clean and I promise to leave you alone.”

My eyes widen when I take in what Sebastian wants Jeremy to do. I lift my head and watch the fury on Jeremy’s face, and I swallow to coat my drying throat. “Jeremy…”

He leans forward before I can say anything else and takes Sebastian’s fingers into his mouth. “Oh my God.” I gasp. Jeremy grimaces as he sucks them quickly and leans back, his skin paling. I believe he’s going to puke when Sebastian pulls me up and against his body.

Jeremy looks back up at us, his body trembling. “Can I leave? And I never have to see either of you ever again?”

I try not to flinch at his words, but I don’t blame him at this point. Sebastian waves a hand toward the door, and Jeremy takes off without saying anything else, the door slamming behind him. The chest against my back shakes as I hear his light chuckling. “What a pussy. The gun isn’t even loaded.”

“What?” I exclaim, turning in his arms.

Sebastian kisses my forehead. “Nico was afraid I would shoot him regardless of what was said or agreed upon.” He lets go of me and puts his pants back on. I bend and grab mine that had dropped near my ankles.

“What are you doing here, Sebastian? I asked for time.” I sigh as I follow him back to the kitchen. He continues typing on his phone, not answering me. Grabbing a few towels, I grimace as I quickly clean up the mess leaking out of me, not wanting to run to the bathroom and leave him alone in my apartment.

“I’ll order some food. It doesn’t look like you’ve eaten anything decent in days,” he says, cleaning up some of the mess thrown all over the counter and moving my cereal bowl to the sink.

I grit my teeth, toss the towels into the trash, and lean against the counter. “Stop. You can’t just ignore everything that happened, and why were you even watching my place?”

He pauses his movements and turns to me. “You already know why. I don’t feel like answering a redundant question.”

We watch each other in silence, just staring till there’s a knock on the door. Sebastian moves quietly to answer it. The smell of one of my favorite Thai places has me sighing as I grab plates and utensils. Sometimes his attention to small details is reallysweet, and it just makes it harder to let go. I sit down as he places the containers on the table and sits across from me.

“Do you love me?” I ask, and he freezes, his hand tightening around his spoon.

“Gianna...”

I close my eyes briefly before pushing the plate away from me. “One of the reasons I need time to think is because of this.”

“Because I won’t say I love you?” He scoffs.

“Because I don’t want to be in a loveless marriage. I realize now that I mistook what I saw in the alley, but you still tried to force me into a pregnancy. Why would I want to bring a child into a relationship without love? Why start a family with someone who clearly is okay with lying to himself, to me?” I say, proud my voice isn’t wavering.

He sits back and stares at me. “I care about you, Gianna. More than anything in this world.”

My heart breaks a little and my eyes water. “Why are you so against love? Just explain it to me… and maybe”—I sigh, slumping back into my chair and waving at him dismissively—“maybe I can understand and we can work through it. Please, after Matt… I just can’t, Sebastian.”

Sebastian looks down at the table, his eyebrows furrowed and lips pursed. He swallows and I can see the devastation on his face as he glances up. “You can’t leave me.”

“I won’t,” I promise.

He shakes his head. “You already have.”

I flinch. “That’s unfair. I signed the contract… I’ve been living with you happily. What more do you want for me to prove I’m not leaving?”

He gives me a bitter smile and sighs, running a frustrated hand through his hair. “Can we eat first? I want to make sure you have food in your stomach.”

I try to keep the resignation off my face and nod. Neither of us speak the entire meal, but I can practically hear his thoughts as he eats in silence.
