Like a funnel, the sexual energy saturated my skin and bones until it migrated into my necklace, filling it like an endless reservoir.

My hands groped across the tight lace binding her abdomen and pulled at the strings. The bodice loosened just enough for me to reach my hand in-between her thighs. Still locked in a kiss, I grinned against her teeth when I felt the moist welcome of my touch.

A pulse ran through Derek’s hand and he staggered. His stiff erection rolled against my leg and suddenly I was very aware of the magnitude of his presence. Silvia was no succubus, but her allure was fascinating. Thanks to Derek, I could feel it for myself. He’d opened a whole new world to me and my hand fell to his erection, wishing to show my gratitude.

Derek chuckled and removed his grip. My body went cold without access to Silvia’s lust and I cried out. “No, please. Don’t take it away.”

Derek gave Silvia a fond smile. “All yours, my dear.”

Her hands caressed my breasts and ran down to the rim of my shirt, tugging it off my body. I complied, wishing only to feel her desire again. She paused as she examined my runes. I kept a hand on the one Derek had activated and its heat threatened to burn me, but I kept my grip. She finally smiled, appeased with what looked no more to be than tattoos, and she pushed down my pants. Now naked, I shivered in the cool air. Silvia led me to the bed as Derek disrobed.

She lay down on her back and pulled me on top of her, safely hiding the rune between the shadow of our bodies. As my tongue danced with hers, a shock of heat hit me from behind. Derek’s erection fit between my butt cheeks and Silvia stretched her hands around my neck. When Derek and Silvia grasped wrists, any contact with Derek’s skin set me on fire. I gasped and lowered my hips, grinding against Silvia. Her moan was intoxicating. Derek eased inside of me carefully, as if he was afraid to break the fragile connection between the three of us. I pushed my hips back and he slid in farther. I gasped again, feeling Silvia’s stimulation against mine, and Derek filling me up from the inside. We all moved together as if we were one. My necklace burned hot with the rolling waves of sexual energy bursting through my body.

The rocking escalated, forcing me over the cliff of an orgasm that threatened to take me under. Derek only kept moving, easily taking my contractions and pounded into me without relent.

Silvia was about to reach her climax, which through our connection I knew was a rare occurrence. Every thrust sent me rolling stimulation over her. Yet it wasn’t just the touch, but the sensation of oneness we had with each other. It was only amplified by the power of the rune across my side that recognized Derek as a piece of my destiny, one of the seven, and a sin that would help me avoid the looming darkness that had haunted me all my life.

Her eyes fluttered closed and Silvia bit her plump lip until her lips parted in a soft gasp. Derek felt it too. With one swift motion he pulled out of me and thrust into his wife. I was pushed into her breasts and could hardly endure the level of sexual power radiating through Derek’s hard grip against my shoulders.

As she cried out in climax and he came into her, I felt the explosion as if I were him, leaving my seed and my hope for a future inside her womb. I felt her wish, and his, as if they were my own. There would be a child. The knowledge of the power of our union brought me to tears and I cried out with them, feeling the full effects of their euphoria. When the tremors slowed, I slumped over Silvia’s heaving body, and Derek rested over mine, not pulling out of his wife. I wanted that moment to last forever, and so did they. And when I managed to open my eyes and look down, Silvia’s sweat-glistened breasts were pressed against mine, illuminated by the intense glow of the locket containing the Blood Stone. We’d done it. I now had enough power to save David, face the truth of my prophecy, and live my life without feeding… for now.

Sarah's Sacrifice

David’s bloodcurdling scream sent shivers down my spine. Where was his succubus now? Did she even care what he was going through because she’d spread her legs?

“Stop moving,” Anderson chided. “Freak doesn’t put up such a fuss.”

I rolled my eyes and tested my wrists against the straps. I was lying flat on the good ol’ torture table. Just one of those cold metal gurneys you’d see in a morgue. It made me envy a corpse.

Anderson patted me on the shoulder and his fingers stuck to my skin, glued with David’s blood as the adhesive. I jerked away, as much as I could with my body strapped to the gurney.

“Stop it!” Sarah shrieked. She wasn’t laid out like David and me. Anderson had tied her to one of those puke-green office chairs supposedly to keep an eye on her. Though if you asked me, he just got kicks out of having an audience.

Anderson waved the scalpel at her. “He’s dead anyway. No sense letting him waste away when he could do some good in this world.”

David moaned, all sense torn out from him after Anderson had sliced open his chest. He should have passed out by now, but there was magic in his veins to dull the pain. I couldn’t imagine how much the deterioration would hurt otherwise without the magical numbing. I would have appreciated the succubus not leaving her victim to suffer, if I hadn’t been pissed at her for making David a victim in the first place.

Anderson picked up the rib spreader. Thanks to this place being some kind of bioresearch center, he had all kinds of tools to rip a body open. He fumbled with the crank, holding it up to the light. Did he even know how to use the damn thing?

“You’re going to kill him!” Sarah shouted and clanked against her chair. It fell over and she cried out.

Anderson laughed. “No. I won’t be the one to kill him.” He tilted the rib spreader and the sheen of metal glinted against the fluorescent light. A cruel grin spread across his face before he lowered it into David’s open chest.

David gasped in panic, his fingers trembling and his eyes locked on the crank. I wished he’d just pass out already.

Anderson’s face turned hard. I knew that look of determination. It’s how he looked every time he maimed me. My supernatural “gifts” rarely let me pass out either.

When I heard the sickeningcrackof David’s ribs being spread, I turned my face and vomited. Anderson could do all kinds of shit to me, but I would heal. What he was doing to David was permanent.

Sarah began to sob and hot tears pricked my eyes. I didn’t know David very well, but he seemed like a half decent guy. He didn’t deserve this.

When the screams stopped, I turned back to see if David was dead. He’d passed out, thankfully, and Anderson had his handinsideDavid’s chest. But that wasn’t the worst part. Anderson was glowing.

At first, I thought it was a trick of the light. But his skin had an unmistakable red hue, and blue streaks were spidering up his veins.

“It’s working!” Anderson shrieked.
