I sent the red waves of heat through my body, down my hips and across my tongue, giving both men a heavy dose of intoxicating pleasure. They both froze when it hit before moving again with renewed vigor.
Xavier impossibly hardened inside of me, taking me with long, deep thrusts.
Luke closed his eyes and leaned his head back, allowing me to taste and suckle at him. He was the most beautiful, exquisite creature and he tasted so delicious. I lapped at him before stroking him hard and sending another pulse of magic through both their bodies.
It took concentration to pleasure both of them at the same time, but the bond helped me do it. The bond wanted us to unite, together, and become one. Xavier’s pleasure built to a peak, threatening to tip over the edge. He resisted me, wanting to prolong the pleasure, but I wouldn’t allow him. He would come when I wanted him to.
One more wave of power and his release spilled into me, just as Luke’s sweetness filled my mouth and masculine moans caressed me as I pleasured my men to their climax.
“That was…”Luke began as he rested his head against the wall, his fingers draping over my naked thigh.
“Divine,” Xavier finished for him, his eyes still closed as he rested on my other side, sated, hands behind his head, his hair still wet from the shower.
We’d all taken a shower, one at a time under my explicit instructions. I didn’t think I could handle two naked men in a steamy shower with me, not two of my bond. I needed to unscramble my brains and decide how I felt about Silvia’s proposal to help her free our demonspawn daughter from Derek’s imprisonment.
I ran my fingers over my glowing runes, only two of them alight to recognize Luke and Xavier in my presence. The soft heat glowed and ebbed like a heartbeat, seeming just as sated as my men with what we had done. I never thought it would feel so natural to have a threesome, but it wasn’t for the thrill of it, like most people do. I’d had sex with both of them at the same time because it’d felt right. They both need me, just as I need them.
“If you were trying to get me to calm down and consider what Silvia told us, then it worked,” I managed to say, my own eyelids too heavy to keep them open. My damp hair made me cold, but I didn’t have the energy to dry it.
Xavier stroked his fingers through my hair, his red magic warming me, but not drying me. “Sorry, love,” he admitted, his red eyes alight with mischief, “we need a dragon to dry you off properly.”
I narrowed my eyes at him. I hadn’t told him about Jet, not yet, but he seemed to know so much more about my bond than I did. “And where would we find this dragon, hmm?”
He continued to untangle my hair, working carefully as his fingers gracefully swept through my strands so deftly that I hardly felt the pull. “You do know that I have a coven, even if they’ve abandoned me now that my father is awake.”
I hummed thoughtfully and rested on my elbow. Luke lazily draped an arm over me and slumped into the pillow, spooning me. He didn’t seem interested in partaking in the conversation and soon was asleep, his soft breaths puffing at my back.
Xavier smiled. “You wore the angel out.”
I thumped him on the chest and he eased lower, brushing a kiss against my lips. “What aren’t you telling me?” I pressed.
His ruby eyes searched mine, his fingers ran over my lips and brushed my fangs I’d managed to keep mostly retracted. Luke was right. I was getting stronger. Even my vampire side wasn’t dominating me. “My witches told me a lot of things that I will share with you, and when all the members of your bond are in one place, I think that will be a good time to share what I know.” He grinned. “Wouldn’t want to repeat myself, now would I?”
I rolled my eyes. “Of course. We wouldn’t want that.”
Luke gripped me tighter around the waist at my sharp tone, forcing me to relax.
Xavier lowered his voice, as if he didn’t want to disturb the angel. “I can tell you this, Sonya; the runes are an ancient magic so powerful that it can derail fate itself.” His fingers ran down the curves of my breasts and circled my runes. The one lowest on my stomach flared to life at his touch and I suppressed the fresh heat it swept through me. “This is what Luke’s mother saw. It’s why there is a demonspawn in the world, and it’s why we’re here. This is all connected.”
I furrowed my brows. “I don’t understand. What’s connected?”
“You helped to bring a frightful creature into this world. Why do you think that is?”
My hand went to my chest, my fingers draping over the heated skin where my power thrummed with a life of its own. “Because of the Blood Stone.”
He chuckled, low and short as if I was an idiot. “No, Sonya, that’s not why.” His brilliant ruby gaze latched onto mine. “It’s because you have power over Hell itself. You are its Queen, and you will be the one to save it.”
What. The. Fuck.
Sonya
Of courseI was the Queen of the Damned. I was a succubus turned into a vampire. I had survived Derek’s blood canals and prevented Hell from ripping into our world, not just because of my power over the Blood Stone, but because of who I was.
Because of the runes that marked me forwhatI was.
I clutched at my head, which was starting to throb.
“I’m sorry,” Xavier crooned. “You weren’t ready to know.”
