“Mine!” Gareth growled, his canines slipping down into his mouth. At the same time, Sean tilted his neck, and a thrill ran through Gareth. He’d never bitten anyone during sex. Wolves didn’t do that, despite what the novels said. Though he tried to stop himself, it was futile. He bent Sean in half and drove his teeth into Sean’s neck, the blood filling Gareth’s mouth. Sean cried out, and jets of cum spurted from his cock, splashing him on the chest and in the face. Seeing it running down his cheeks was too much, and Gareth’s balls tightened as he groaned and shot hard, deep into Sean’s ass.

They lay there, breathless, until Gareth tried to pull out and found he was stuck inside Sean’s body. He’d heard of knotting, but had never had it happen before. Still, the orgasm continued rolling through him, so he closed his eyes and rode out the ecstasy. It took a good ten minutes before he finally slipped free of Sean’s tight channel and was able to turn Sean to him.

“That was….”

“God, yes. What was that thing you did at the end? I thought you were going to pull out, but you didn’t and warmth filled my ass.” Sean shrugged. “Doesn’t matter. Whatever it was, I loved it.” He leaned closer and kissed Gareth. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” He wiped a hand over Sean’s cheek, gathering the remnants of the load he’d spilled. He licked his hand, and Sean’s eyes widened. “What? Waste not, want not. And this is too damn tasty to let go to waste.” He sighed. “Still, we should shower and get some sleep.”

Sean’s expression slipped. “Oh, okay.”

From somewhere deep inside, Gareth could practically hear Sean’s heart break. He thought Gareth meant separate rooms, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

“Sean? I meant together. This is your room now. You stay with me, always. I can’t be separated from you anymore.”

In an instant, the frown turned into a dazzling smile. “Really?”

Gareth winked. “I really want to hold you while you sleep. Can I do that?”

Sean’s eyes sparkled. “Anytime, my Alpha.”

After a quick shower, Gareth picked Sean up, with no complaints from Sean, and carried him to the bed. He wasn’t surprised to find that at some point, Dani had come in and changed the sheets. She was efficient to a fault.

Sean bit his lip. “Do you think she heard us?”

“The way you howled, I’d be surprised if the whole pack didn’t.” He kissed Sean’s nose. “At least they know you’re mine now.”

Sean’s expression went dreamy. “I can deal with that.”

After he ensured Sean was tucked in, Gareth turned off the light, plunging the room into near absolute darkness. Still, he could see Sean, curled up under the blankets, and when Gareth slid into bed, Sean scooted closer and wrapped an arm around Gareth’s waist.

“Good night, Gareth.”

“Good night, love. See you in the morning.”

And, of course, Gareth would be dreaming of his new love tonight. And every night from then on.

Chapter Thirteen

THE LIGHTfiltered through the curtains and fell on Sean’s face. He opened his eyes, no longer the same Sean who went to sleep last night. After he and Gareth had made love, Sean felt like a whole new person. He grinned when he realized Gareth’s arm was wrapped around his waist. Sean felt warm, safe, and most of all, loved. He snuggled in a bit closer, enjoying the sensations of being with Gareth.

A gentle kiss to the back of Sean’s neck raised goose bumps. “Good morning, love.”

“Good morning.” He rolled over, happy when Gareth didn’t let him go. “Sleep well?”

“Like I’d had the best sex of my life, then got to hold the most beautiful man in the world.”

Sean’s cheeks warmed.

Gareth reached up and cupped one of them. “I like that you blush for me.” He leaned in and kissed Sean softly. “What do you want to do today?”

“Sleep for a while longer?” He grinned. “I have a tutoring session with Caleb in about… oh, a half hour ago.” He groaned as he stretched. “I suppose I should get up.”

“If you want to rest, do so. I’ll tell Caleb he needs to wait until this afternoon.” Gareth sat up. “I want you to check in with Dr. Frank later, please. I’m still a little worried about how hot you were last night.”

“Okay.” He wouldn’t argue. Better to do as Gareth asked, than have him worry. “I’ll stop by this afternoon.” He threw the covers back and stood. “For now, though, school.”

Gareth turned and smiled at him, but then his eyes narrowed and his lips curled. “What’s wrong with your stomach?”
