As the pleasure finally starts to subside, I collapse back against the bed, my chest heaving as I try to catch my breath.Halsey is still trembling, her body spent, but there’s a satisfied smile on her face as she leans against me, her skin flushed and glowing.

Santos groans, his head falling back as he pulls out slowly, his hands still resting on her hips as he watches us with a look of pure satisfaction.

This is just like us, perfect, loving.Us.

ChapterForty-Five

Halsey

I’m trembling,my body still quaking as the last waves of my orgasm ripple through me.My breath comes in shallow gasps, my mind hazy from everything we just shared. The room feels warm, the air thick with the scent of sweat and sex, but there’s something else, something deeper—comfort, love, and a sense of belonging.

I collapse against Dustin’s chest, my legs weak and shaking. His arms wrap around me instantly, holding me close, calming me in his warmth.Santos is still behind me, his hands resting on my hips, his breath heavy against the back of my neck.I can feel his body trembling too, like we’ve all been completely undone.

For a moment, no one says anything. The room is quiet, except for the sound of our breathing, all three of us trying to catch our breath, coming down from the high.Dustin presses a soft kiss to my forehead, his hand gently stroking my back, his touch soothing, calming the storm inside me.

“You were amazing,” Dustin murmurs, his voice low and full of praise.“So fucking perfect, baby.”

I smile weakly, still too breathless to speak.I feel Santos shift behind me, and then his arms are wrapping around me from the back, his chest pressing against mine, holding me between them.I feel so safe, so loved in this moment. They’re here, and they’re taking care of me.

Santos kisses the back of my neck, his lips warm and gentle.“You’re incredible,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion.“Thank you ...for trusting us, for being so good to us.”

I close my eyes, letting myself sink into their embrace. My body is still trembling, but their hands are everywhere—soothing, stroking, holding me together as I come down from the intensity of what we just shared.I feel the warmth of Santos’s breath against my shoulder, the steady rhythm of Dustin’s heartbeat beneath my cheek, and for the first time in a long time, I feel whole.

But I’m exhausted, completely spent. My limbs feel heavy, my mind foggy, and I’m on the edge of sleep, but I don’t want to let go of this moment just yet.Who knew these two could tire me out like this, and it’s only been a couple of days.

“I’ve got you,” Dustin whispers, sensing my exhaustion. He shifts, careful with every movement as he gently pulls me off him and guides me to lie down on the bed.I feel the cool sheets beneath me, my body sinking into them, but I still don’t want to let go of them. Not yet.

Santos leans down, brushing a soft kiss to my lips before pulling back.“Rest, baby. You deserve it.”

Dustin moves away, and I hear the faint rustle of sheets and towels. He comes back with a warm cloth, gently spreading my legs, and I shiver slightly as he begins to clean me up.His touch is tender, almost reverent, as he wipes away the sticky mess between my thighs, his lips pressing soft kisses to my inner thigh as he works.

“You did so well,” he murmurs again, his voice full of love as he finishes cleaning me.“You were perfect for us.”

My heart swells at his words, and I feel tears prick the corners of my eyes—not from sadness, but from the overwhelming love I feel in this moment.Dustin kisses my thigh one last time before pulling the blankets over me, tucking me in with so much care, like I’m something precious.

Santos moves beside me, pulling me into his arms as Dustin finishes cleaning himself up.His body is warm against mine, his chest rising and falling steadily as he holds me close, his lips pressing against my hair.

“Thank you for coming back to us,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion.“We need you.I need you.”

I press my face into his chest, feeling the steady thump of his heartbeat beneath my cheek.“I’m not going anywhere,” I whisper, my voice barely audible as sleep starts to pull me under.“I’m here and I need you too.”

Dustin joins us in the bed, sliding in on the other side of me, his arms wrapping around us both, cocooning me in their warmth.I feel safe, secure, loved in a way that makes all the complications and scars worth it.There’s still so much we need to fix, but for now, at this point in time, everything feels right.

I blink slowly, the warmth of the blankets and their arms still wrapped around me.For a moment, I wonder if it’s all been a dream—a beautiful, impossible dream. But as I turn my head, I see Dustin sitting up, his tablet in hand, and the soft sound of his chuckle pulls me out of the sleepy haze.

He’s still here.

For the first time, he didn’t leave. He didn’t sneak away in the early hours to avoid us or to work.He stayed, naked and comfortable, his lean body relaxed against the headboard as he scrolls through what I assume are the headlines on his tablet.

Santos shifts beside me, his arm still draped over my waist, his body warm and solid against mine.I feel his breath on the back of my neck, steady and content. When he wakes up, his first instinct is to pull me closer, his hand slipping up my stomach, holding me as if to remind me he’s here too.

“Morning,” I murmur, my voice thick with sleep, but there’s a smile tugging at my lips.

“Morning, beautiful,” Dustin replies, his eyes flicking down from the tablet to meet mine.He looks relaxed, a rare smile on his face that reaches his eyes.“Guess what?”

I raise an eyebrow, still half-asleep.“What?”

He holds up the tablet, showing me the screen.“We’re official.”
