“Okay, well, take a few deep breaths. Lottie will be pissed if you die on the way to her wedding.”

The joke earned her a watery laugh. “If I die, it will be because Beckett killed me. I’m in so much trouble, Frankie.”

Poor thing sounded so stressed. “I’m sure it’s not that bad. Whatever it is, he’ll get over it.”

“Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Um, I’m gonna go so I don’t get distracted and do something stupid like get another speeding ticket. I really will be dead if that happens.”

As strict as Beckett was when it came to Ruby’s safety, there was probably something to that. “For real. Drive safe, babe. See you in a bit.”

Guilt gnawed at her as she eyed the door across the hall. But really, what more could she do? Ruby was on her way, which hopefully meant Beckett wasn’t too far behind her.

The toy her husband had been teasing her with all morning came to life again, and guilt was quickly replaced by a mixture of murderous fury and clawing, desperate need. Pressing forward, she shoved open the door of the other suite.

Several sets of surprised eyes swung her way as she stepped inside. But she only had eyes for one man. The one currently watching her from an armchair, a smug fucking smile on his face that made her want to strangle him.

“You. Bedroom. Now.”

But Holden didn’t move. That stupid smug smile only deepened as he stared at her. “Is that how you talk to your Daddy, little girl?”

“Holden, I swear to god if you don’t fuck me in the next thirty seconds, I will go take care of it myself.”

She knew before she’d even finished the sentence that it was the wrong thing to say. A deadly hush fell over the room, and she watched with growing horror as her husband slowly pushed himself up from his chair.

Stumbling backward, she looked over her shoulder, frantically gauging whether she could make it to the door before he caught her.

“Don’t even think about it, Francesca.”

The low growl of his voice sent a shiver up her spine. “I didn’t mean it, Daddy, I swear!”

Silently, he stalked her. With every step forward, she took a step back, but it wasn’t long before he was on her, scooping her up over his shoulder with a heavy swat to her ass. It stung, but she knew better than to complain about it when she was already in as much trouble as she currently was.

He carried her to one of the bedrooms as his friends looked on, all with various looks of smug amusement. Except for Jacob, the only one of the group who managed to garner any sympathy for her plight.

The door slammed on their stupid faces, and then Frankie was on her feet, back against the wall, her wrists pinned over her head in one of her Daddy’s large hands. Fear, the kind that made her pussy throb and her nipples tighten, coursed through her as she stared up into his dark eyes.

“You really need to come that badly, baby?”

To the passive observer, the question might have sounded genuine. But after living so many months as his submissive, she clearly heard the deadly intent beneath the words.

“I’m sorry, I-I don’t know why I said that.”

“Oh, I know exactly why you said it.” With his free hand, he yanked at the tie around her waist and her robe fell open, exposing nearly every inch of her to his scorching gaze. “You said it because you’re a fucking brat and you knew exactly what would happen.”

The hint of aggravation in his tone tickled her, and she couldn’t fight back the grin that tugged at her lips as she stared up at him. “I am a fucking brat. And you love it.”

Despite his clear annoyance with her, his lips twitched. “I do.” Dipping his head as if to kiss her, he paused with his mouth just a breath from hers. “That doesn’t mean you aren’t going to be punished.”

Need and fear slammed into her as he reached for her panties. But then he paused, his eyes narrowing as he traced a fingertip over the silky material. “What the hell is that?”

“Huh?” Confused, she glanced down. And then burst into giggles when she realized what she was wearing. “Mistletoe. Lottie bought us all a pair as kind of a gag gift. You know, kiss me under the mistletoe?”

A slow, wicked grin curved his lips. “I think that’s a fantastic idea.”

He could live a thousand lifetimes and never tire of the vision that was his wife. Especially in moments like this, with that mischievous glint in her eyes as she grinned up at him, practically daring him to do his worst.
