Ink levered himself upright. “Did I drool?”
“And snore.”
Ink smiled. “As long as I didn’t fart.”
“It’s okay. I blamed Dog.”
Dog gave a faint woof.
Tay raised his eyebrows. “I swear that animal understands what we say.”
“He’s smart. When’s the next train?”
“Fifteen minutes. We’re lucky with the timing. It’s not a frequent service. We’ll have to get a cab from there to the house, but it’s not far. I’ll order one once we’re on our way.”
The train pulled into Newcastle station and they waited until everyone had disembarked before they got off. Ink helped Tay down onto the platform. Dog was straining to reach a pillar and Ink sighed.
“He needs to pee. Stand in front of us so no one sees.”
When Dog was done, Ink tipped the remains of a bottle of water over the puddle.
“I could do with going too,” Tay said.
“I don’t have any water left.”
Tay mock-glared. “I’m not going to pee there.”
“Even if I stand in front of you?”
“No.” Tay headed down the platform and Ink followed.
BY THE TIME THE CAB had dropped them at the house, Tay had had a text to say his sister had delivered the groceries. Ink was glad they didn’t have to go out and get food because they were both exhausted. He stared at the slate grey sea and sighed. He’d never stayed anywhere that had a view of the sea. He turned back to the house. He’d never been anywhere like this, let alone stayed there. The house was a big detached property with windows on either side of the front door and a large separate garage at the side.
“Wait until I’ve switched off the alarm before you follow me in,” Tay said. “You might trigger a motion sensor and the alarm’s linked to a monitoring system. We don’t want the police rushing round.”
Ink waited with Dog who took the opportunity to water a bush, then Tay called them in. Ink closed the door and put down his backpack and guitar. When he stood up from letting Dog off the lead, Tay set his crutch aside and stepped right into Ink’s space. They came together like powerful magnets that had been held apart for too long. Tay put his hands on Ink’s hips and eased him against the wall with his body. His lips slid behind Ink’s ear and Ink began to dissolve. Most of him.
Tay slowly kissed and flicked his tongue down the line of Ink’s jaw to his mouth. Ink’s lips parted, their tongues touched and the next moment they were devouring each other as if their lives depended on it.They writhed in frantic desperation as control slipped on both sides. The kiss set Ink ablaze. He ground himself against Tay, their rigid cocks mashing together. So close, not close enough.
Tay drew back a fraction to grab some air and their choppy breathing washed each other’s faces. But Ink wanted more. He pressed his mouth into the hollow of Tay’s neck, licking his skin until Tay was moaning. Ink slid his hands up Tay’s throat, pressing his thumbs into the soft skin as he cradled his head.
“Oh God,” Tay panted. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
Ink’s tongue swept the underside of Tay’s upper lip, ran along the ridge of his teeth until Tay caught it, and nipped gently. Then Tay was in charge, kissing and licking a path over his face, tasting and teasing until Ink couldn’t breathe.
The world slid away. Ink didn’t want this to stop, wanted more, wanted Tay. All of him. He vibrated with need. One brush of his groin by Tay’s hand and he almost came.
“You know how long I’ve wanted to do that?” Tay whispered.
“Five minutes?”
“Since I stood by platform nine and three quarters and saw you, because…I wasn’t sure you’d come. I worried something would happen to stop you.”
Tay fumbled with Ink’s jeans until he got the button open, zip down, and his cock free of his shorts.
“Don’t come until I’ve managed to get to my knees,” Tay said.
Ink laughed.
