“Rayzee. The moon one. On a royalty split so…”

“That’s brilliant.” Tal kissed him and eventually Corey had to pull away. They were getting carried away. He knew the signs.

“We have to be downstairs in three minutes!” Corey reminded him.

“Time for you to come twice.”

“Ha ha.” Corey straightened Tal’s tie.

“On this very special day, I have a present for you,” Tal said.

Corey waited.

“I found a plot of land. We have first option. The owner wants me to build him something elsewhere so…”

“Where?”

“Kent. Within ten miles of where we wanted.”

Corey hugged him. “Oh my God. Big enough to build what we want?”

“Yes.”

“And a swimming pool, hot tub, stables and tennis court?”

Tal laughed. “When did we decide we wanted those?”

“Just kidding.”

“We could probably stretch to a hot tub.”

Corey whined. “I love you so much.”

“I love you more.”

“Not possible.”

“Yes it is.”

Corey sighed. “That argument again. Always the same.”

Tal stroked his cheek. “You are all that I want. From the moment I was born, I wanted someone to love me and for me to able to love them in return. I need your kindness, your gentleness, your strength. That you can see me as someone worthy of loving is…everything. Thank you for putting up with me.”

“Tal! You’re easy to love. There are so many things to love about you. I tell you, but I don’t know if you really listen. So I’ll tell you again. I love the way you straighten crooked pictures wherever you see them. I love that you buy coffee and food for homeless people. I love that I know it’s you even if I only see you from behind. Even with your coat on. I love the way you get pissed off with politicians on the TV but never discuss politics.I love the way your eyes widen when you come. I love the way you hold me tight. I love that I could keep going forever. You are everything to me. I love you most.”

Tal chuckled. “Time to go downstairs. Check your pocket.”

Corey patted it and Tal patted his.Solas Suaswas engraved on their hearts and now engraved on something they’d wear forever. They didn’t often talk of that time. They still had no explanations. It was their miracle and maybe a miracle for others too. There was comfort to be felt in that.

They left the room and held hands as they walked down the hallway. When they reached the stairs, Louis and Benjamin were there.

“Ready?” Louis asked.

Corey turned and kissed Tal, then looked down to where their wedding guests were waiting. “Ready.”

“Thank God. Oh, thank God,” the man said.
