He was an idiot. He’d been getting so far ahead of himself he was in danger of time travelling to a future where he and Corey were in a relationship that satisfied both their desires.Stupid.He might be attracted to Corey but this young man was not what he needed.

Nevertheless, that first full sight of his face, with the hood of his jacket down and the Christmas tree behind him had taken Tal’s breath away. More than that. It had stolen so much oxygen from the room that breathing had become painful. Corey looked like some bedraggled fairy with his messy blue-tinged hair and big soulful eyes. His soaked T-shirt clung to every dip and curveof his body, and while he was slender compared to Tal, he wasn’t scrawny. Tal thought his type was big, strong, dominant muscular guys, but he was reconsidering.

It was Corey’s eyes that had pulled him in and locked his lungs. Bluey-green eyes with flecks of hazel and dark lashes so thick and long they almost looked fake. Corey was stunningly beautiful, and that wasn’t something Tal thought very often about a man.

Luckily, or unluckily, by the time Tal was back in the bathroom, the glass in the shower had already misted over so Tal could only see a vague outline of Corey’s body. Though that and the way Corey was quietly moaning was enough to excite his cock. He managed to drag his gaze away and added the entire bottle of bath gel to the water. Foam was his friend.

Tal stripped, wrapped a towel around his waist and after he’d filled the laundry bag with his wet stuff and Corey’s, he’d put it outside the door of the room. He glanced at the bed on the way back to the bathroom. It was plenty big enough for two of them, even though Tal apparently had the tendency to sprawl like a starfish and hog the duvet.Bastard Dorian. He could try not to. Or perhaps not.

He retrieved a pair of boxers and his toiletries from his case. At least everything inside was dry though very cold, and headed for the bathroom. He usually slept naked but not tonight.

The bath was full of foam. More than enough to disguise the state of his cock. He pushed his hand through the foam to check the temperature of the water and it was fine. Corey didn’t have a towel within reach so Tal tossed one over, and felt a degree of martyrdom. Then he let his towel fall and stepped into the water.

Agony…agony…agony… Argh…That had been why Corey was moaning because Tal moaned too. But after a moment or two, his body adjusted and he was no longer in pain. Instead, he wallowed in bliss. Tal slid down to dip his head under the foamand into the water. He stayed submerged for a long moment, then came up to lean against the back of the bath. Turned out he could rest at this angle and not have to bend his knees, which was an unexpected luxury.

If Louis could see him now… Sharing a bathroom with a boy he wanted, a boy he couldn’t have, a boy he shouldn’t have.

Go for it,Louis said in his head.

Was there a difference between couldn’t and shouldn’t have?

Yes.

Louis was Tal’s voice of reason and temptation.

Shouldn’t is your choice. You’re making your own rules.

Tal wanted to know Corey’s age.

Does it matter as long as he’s legal?

Yes, it did. Corey was a lot younger than him. Tal was practically forty.

What age does he have to be for it not to matter?

That was an interesting question. Like the one Corey had posed. How much is enough?Tal knew Corey had been trying to distract him as they walked through that blizzard, but he’d liked listening to him talk, liked talking to him. Rare for Tal to think that about a stranger.

So? What age does he have to be for it not to matter?

Not a teenager. Tal couldn’t get his head around doing anything with a teenager. It felt…wrong.

But if he’s twenty?

He wavered.

What difference does a year make? You were having sex when you were a teenager.

But not with someone his age.

If someone your age had been interested?

Tal wavered again.

Though he was assuming Corey had any interest in him. He’d not given any indication that he had. Had he?

Sure about that?

Yes!
