“You named your dick, Chip?”

“It’s not my dick. Well, I guess it is. Why the fuck are we talking about this? You’re distracting me like I can’t see what you’re doing.” I wanted her to tell me she didn’t have a slong in her backpack, and that she wanted mine.

“I needed you to clear your mind. Come here.” She walked over to me, and I placed my hands at her temple and began to rub. Her ass slightly moaned, and I almost forgot why we were here. Trying to get back focused, I continued to massage until I thought her head was clear. “Everything you think you know about racing, throw that shit out the window. I need you to hear only me. Trust only me. Feel only me.” The last part came out in a whisper, and I wanted to cover her mouth with mine. “Do you feel me inside of you, Storm? Am I inside your mind?”

“Yes, I feel you inside of me.” My dick bricked up, and I knew it was time to move on. Letting her go, I turned my back and walked towards the car. It sounded as if she cursed under her breath, but she had no idea. I only walked off because shit was about to go left. I was about to be the only nigga ever inside them guts and that shit was gone change her life forever. I’msure she thought I was going back in my shell. “Storm, you gone stand there looking slow or are you gone get behind the wheel?”

“I’m coming, damn!” My dick jumped, and I was glad she hadn’t made it to the car yet. When she climbed inside, it was clear she was agitated. Shaking my head, I gave the first lesson.

“Fix your fucking face. Racing is fun, but it’s not something to do. It’s something that’s in you. If you’re excited, nervous, or angry; you are going to drive that way. Become one with your car, and then the road. You’re ready?”

“I’m ready.” When I looked at Storm, her face was focused, and her mind looked clear. I could literally see the adrenaline running through her body, and I knew she was hanging on to every word I was saying. That’s exactly where I needed her to be.

“Close your eyes.” When her eyes closed, I grabbed her hand and placed it on the gear shift. Keeping my hand placed on hers, I pulled the shift into gear. “Wait until you feel that moment your car tells you to go.” She opened her eyes, but I immediately stopped her. “Keep your eyes closed, Storm. Listen to me and trust me.” Twenty seconds later, she took off. The fact that there wasn’t a nervous bone in her body as she drove let me know she trusted me unequivocally. “Turn left slightly.” When the car turned, I closed my eyes. It was this same lot I taught Chevy how to race. “In ten seconds, turn left. When you feel yourself losing control in the back, turn your wheel in the opposite direction.”

“Okay.” I didn’t need to watch the track. I knew every crack, crease, and line on this mufucka. I could see it clearly in my thoughts. It was embedded in me. Feeling the car fishtailing, I knew we were on the bend. Storm was now drifting whether she knew it or not.

“Hold it for thirty seconds and then cut right.” In my mind, I could see Chevy listening to me intently. The tearswere slowly coming down my face, but it wasn’t sad tears. I felt as if I was reconnecting with him in this moment. The car straightened, so I opened my eyes. Looking over at Storm, I could see Chevy smiling hard as fuck. Her face did the same and I felt proud in this moment.

“Omg, Dodge. I did it. I drifted and I can’t believe I did it with my eyes closed.”

“You don’t need to see if you’re a part of the road. That was perfect for your first time. By the time we leave here today, you’re not going to need me to tell you when to do it. You’re going to know when to do it on your own.” I was about to let it go, but I decided to say something else. “I’m proud of you.” Her smile lit up the car, and I knew this was what I needed. Whether Storm knew it or not, but she gave me another moment that I needed with my brother. “In ten seconds, turn left.” I laid back and closed my eyes again, and it didn’t go unnoticed that I still had my hand on top of hers.

7-LAVAY “STORM” TENSLEY

“Don’t be nervous. You got this. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, but I’m with you in spirit.” Sass called herself giving me a pep talk, but my nerves were all over the place. Not because I was scared to race, but I was scared of disappointing Dodge. He’s been teaching me nonstop for the last two months, and even though I was ready, I didn’t want to fail him.

“I know you would. Take care of that baby inside that belly and get ready to get back in the paint. I can’t wait to race against you.”

“A shiddddd. I didn’t get taught by the Mr. Miyagi of the car world. You won’t whoop on me to boost your ego. Take that shit out on them niggas that took your bread last race.” We both laughed, but I knew she wasn’t scared. True racers didn’t have a fear bone in their body once they got on the line.

“I just want to make him proud.” I could hear her ass giggling, and I shook my head.

“Whewwww. You done fell for that mean ass man and I’m here for it. I just want all the details once it finally happens.” I continued to get ready as I listened to her hopelessly romantic ass dream out loud.

“Girl, that man don’t want me. I’ve done everything but put the pussy on his lips. He’s swerved me at every corner, so I’m okay with us just being friends.”

“Well maybe that’s what your ass needs to do. You know some niggas are slow. I mean turtle slow. They don’t know what they want until you tell them.” I looked at the phone as if it had two heads.

“I know you fucking lying. Sass, you ran from a man that wanted you. Are you going to call him and tell him yall need each other?” We had gotten close over these last two months, so I knew her story.

“That’s different, plus we’re not talking about me. We are talking about you and that fine ass man that’s accessible. Don’t be like me. Go ahead hunny, take a chance.” I laughed at her doing the impression of the lady from Coming to America. A text came through letting me know Dodge was outside, so I had to end this conversation.

“He’s here, so I have to go. I’ll text you after.” We hung up and I took a deep breath before walking out of the door. I felt like this was the race of my life, but I was ready. He walked over to me before throwing his arm around my neck like I was one of the homies.

“You ready, grasshopper?”

“Let’s go.”

“If you make me look bad, you gone have to answer to me.” We climbed in Pinky, and I wondered what the punishment would be if I lost. If him fucking my brains out was me answering to him, then I might throw the race.

“You promise?” I asked flirtatiously trying to see if he would take the bait.

“Keep on, yo ass gone get what you looking for.” Laughing, I pulled off. That was as far as his flirting ever went. He threatened but never backed that shit up. Since I knew he wasn’t serious, I never got my hopes up. Clearing my head, I got dick off my brain and tried to tap in. Even though I wanted this man in the worse way, I couldn’t be in that mindset right now. It was time to show these people who Storm was, and I was ready.

Become the road. Become the car. Feel me. Feel me inside of you.Dodge’s words rang in my mind as I closed my eyes. It was one lap left, and I was coming up in third. Normally, I would panic and do something drastic, but I knew it was still a lot of road left. Pinky didn’t tell me to go off yet, so I’ve been taking it slow and steady.
