Like two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly, he slides into me. We both sigh wistfully as he seats himself fully inside. He places his forehead on mine before capturing my lips as he slowly slides out. Then back in. I match him thrust for thrust as we naturally find our rhythm together.
When his base grinds into my clit, already highly sensitive from the previous orgasms he gave me, I know he won the bet. A bet I knew I would lose the moment we made it. Because if anyone could find the key to unlock my pleasure, it was Logan.
His pace picks up and he grunts against my neck. I feel his teeth graze the skin, no doubt leaving a mark. But I don’t care. Not right now. Because at this moment, I want the whole world to know that Logan Spencer owns my heart and soul.
I’m not completely sure when it happened, but there is no denying it.
“I’m—-” he tries to speak.
“Yes,” I say for both of us.
It’s only a handful more seconds when those fireworks are back to shooting through my body, overtaking my sight with the bright colors I will always associate with Logan forever.
His throaty moan in my ear spurs my orgasm a little longer as we ride out our pleasure together.
I can’t tell if it’s my heart or his pounding so hard I can feel it on my skin. Probably both, as we immediately seek each other’s lips out for a soul-searing kiss.
And as we both come down from our highs, one word plays on repeat in my head, echoed from my heart. A word that has no business being in my vocabulary right now. But feels so perfectly right to be there.

“I can feel you staring at me.”
I don’t open my eyes as I chastise Logan. Instead, I burrow my face deeper into my pillow in an attempt to hide.
“Oh, no you don’t.” His arm snakes around my waist, pulling me toward him. He tucks my hair behind my ear gently, sliding his fingertip back toward my nose. Then my eyebrows, over my cheekbone and to my lips.
Sticking my tongue out, I swipe it along the digit, sending tingles across my face.
“Don’t tempt me, woman,” Logan mutters.
I peek out of one of my eyes to find him grinning down at me. “You can’t want another round already.”
“Want?” He squints his eyes. “I always want another round with you. But that’s probably not the wisest decision after all the rounds we had last night.”
I feel my cheeks heat and I attempt to hide my face in his chest, but Logan isn’t having that when he chuckles lightly and tilts my face back up to him.
“No way. You don’t get to play embarrassed now. Not after our night together.”
“Who said it’s a play?” I mutter, trying and failing to hold in my grin at the reminder.
He’s not joking about rounds, as in multiple. This man made good on his bet and then some. We both dozed off shortly after round one. I’m not sure how long we slept before I woke up with his head between my legs, leading to round two. Another short nap later and I returned the favor by waking him up with my mouth. The sun was starting to come up through the window we never closed by the time we collapsed in each other’s arms.
I had never had a night like the one we shared before, and while I was deliciously sore, I was worried about how to act the morning after. The thoughts I first fell asleep to were still on my mind, swirling in uncertainty. But as my eyes clutch onto his hazel ones, soft with sleep but still full of happiness, I realize those feelings were still there.
“What are you thinking about?”
How I’m falling head over heels for you.
Not that I could say that. That was a one-way ticket to having him run for the hills. So I settle for a mild version of the truth.
“How incredible last night was.”
His smirk sends a thrill through me, and he must see the spark of lust in my eyes because he groans lightly and places a chaste kiss on my lips.
“Don’t look at me like that or we won’t be getting out of this bed anytime soon. We should probably get on the road soon if we want to make it back by noon. Do you still need to go into the cafe this afternoon?”
It’s my turn to groan at the reminder of reality. “Yes, I promised Piper she could have the night off since she covered for me last night. Ophelia said she would bring Sunday dinner to me since I won’t be able to make it.”
