She glances towards me, hoping I’ll contradict my packmate.
“Get in the car, Omega. You’re making this very hard for us.”
She struggles against the order, but in the end she submits, opening the door and sliding into the front seat.
“Good luck,” Silver says to me.
And I think I’m going to need it.

I flickthrough the radio stations and find the least sexiest music I can find. Some Bible station singing tunes about Jesus.
The omega side eyes me but doesn’t complain, her thighs pressed firmly together.
The drive is still fucking excruciating. I can’t stop thinking about her tits. How soft they felt under my palm. How they’d taste in my mouth.
I’m so busy thinking about them, I nearly drive straight into the back of the car in front.
I slam on the brake and we’re both thrown forward.
“Sorry,” I grunt. “Are you okay?”
“Uh huh,” she says, tugging at her seatbelt. “Didn’t you see it stop?”
I sweep my hand through my hair. “Yeah.”
She scrutinizes me, noting the way I’m hunched over the wheel and squinting at the windscreen.
“Hmmm,” she shifts on her seat, “see that blue sign over there, can you read it?” She points towards some blue smudge in the far distance. I doubt anyone on the fucking planet could read that.
“Yeah,” I lie.
“What does it say, then?”
I squint harder, but no matter how hard I strain my eyes I can’t make the blurry image focus into something readable.
“No left turn,” I gamble.
“You need glasses,” she says.
“I don’t need glasses.”
“Can you read that plate over there?”
“I don’t need to read that plate over there. I can read the one twenty feet in front of me and that’s the requirement by law.”
She’s quiet for a moment, then she says, “I really like glasses on a man,” she says. “In fact, I think they’re incredibly sexy.”
The way she says that word has my blood pumping. “You do?” I ask, glancing at her to see if she’s making fun of me.
She bites her bottom lip and nods. “It really turns me on.”
“I think you’re trying to manipulate me here, baby girl.”
“I think I’d like to see you in a pair of glasses.” She lowers her voice: “And nothing else.”
Jesus fucking Christ.
