“Good?” Her lips parted, her eyes wide. “What do you mean, good?”
I chuckled—I couldn’t help myself, and I couldn’t believe we were having this conversation right now, of all the places in the world.
“I mean, good. I can’t believe you see a future with me though. I think I’m moving in more of my clothes tomorrow, or maybe I’ll steal some of your clothes for my house. You need a dresser there, better yet, a closet. Hm. I’ll have to have Oliver help me fuck around with some layouts for the master bedroom.” I was muttering by the end, my brain going elsewhere, the more thoughts that ran through my head about how I could make this happen as soon as possible.
I could call Rowan and ask him for some ideas. They’d be a bit more unhinged, but I wasn’t above it when it came to Ember.
“Hey bro! Are you guys coming in?” I jumped slightly at the sound of Payton’s voice. She was walking in front of my car towards the front door.
“Oh yeah, just finishing this chat up now. We’ll be right in, so don’t steal all the salami and crackers!” I yelled back as she threw me the finger and walked inside.
“Anyway, where were we?” I asked, my attention turning back to the stunning redhead in front of me. “Oh yes, I remember. You’re freaking out that my mother will despise you, and you want a future with me, that about cover it?”
She rolled her eyes, and my free hand went from her hip to her throat, gently squeezing.
“Okay, my little brat, I’ll remember that move later when I have you alone in the middle of the woods and no one canhear you scream,” I breathed as I leaned down and brushed my lips against hers. They parted for me, and it wasn’t long before I was kissing her senselessly, only to recall where we were seconds later.
Pulling away, I let out a long breath, but left my hand around her throat. “Ember Rae Brady, I will spend the rest of my life by your side, doing my utmost to make you happy while also driving you crazy. We can get as many cats as you want, and I’m fine with us being the cool Aunt and Uncle for the rest of our lives, because we will definitely be the cool ones. I’d rather us work and in my free time? Take you to the club or chase you through the woods until we’re old and grey and our idea of kinky is beating each other with our canes, the walking kind, not the flogging kind. Kids are sticky, and I prefer being sticky from too much chocolate being licked from your body.”
She swallowed roughly and nodded. “So, you don’t want kids either?”
I smiled. “I want to fill you with my cum and watch it seep out of that pretty pussy of yours, but that’s as close as I want to get to children. So the practice of it all I guess, but not the outcome,” I said with an unapologetic shrug.
She bit her lip but couldn’t hold back the laugh. “You’re horrible, but I’m glad we’re in agreement. We should get you snipped. Birth control is only so effective.”
I smirked. “Wow, talking about surgically redirecting my sperm so we can do all the cream pies worry-free? You really are planning out a solid future for us.”
She shook her head as her hand came up, cupping the back of my neck as she pulled me down for a quick kiss.
“Okay, are you feeling better? Ready to meander into the lion’s den?”
She nodded. “Let’s do this. Oh also, how do they think we met?”
I stared at her, eyes wide, and cleared my throat. “Let’s go, little flame.”
“Wyatt! How do they think we met?”
She was so chaining me back to the bed later.

A WEDDING PARTY
Ember
All of hissiblings knew about the sex app, and now so did Abby, his mother. His mom knew that I met her son on a sex app, and he chased me through the woods like a couple of animals. How did she know?
Well, apparently, they spent a great deal of time embarrassing Theo, and Theo was eager to get back at his older siblings whenever possible. This was an opportunity he refused to pass up, so here we were—sitting around a massive rectangular table, all talking about how insane Wyatt and I had to be to go searching for love on an app meant for sex.
“Honestly, I don’t think she was looking for love,” Aspen said as she bumped me with her shoulderand giggled knowingly.
I glared. “To think I gladly accepted to do the desserts for your wedding, and this is how you treat me.”
Rowan let out a dramatic gasp. “Quick, Angel! Take it back! We need her.”
Everyone around the table laughed, and Wyatt threw an arm around me. “She isn’t wrong though. I think we were both just looking for fun. Something to break up the monotony of life, and instead, we found something even better.” He kissed the side of my head, and I tried not to look around the table to see everyone’s reactions to this man being as sweet as an apple pie. Instead, I found myself staring at my lap, my hands clasped tightly together as I listened to them all joke and throw harmless jabs around the table at each other.
Wyatt squeezed me into his side before his arm fell back a bit, his hand resting on the back of my neck. A small gesture that felt like a gentle reassurance that he was there with me. I wasn’t in this alone.
