I blink. “You…made me coffee?”

He chuckles. “Of course. Can’t have you starving before we ruin you again.”

“We can’t just have sex all the time, Nox,” I laugh, crossing my arms and giving him a sarcastically serious look.

“And why not?” he asks.

Before I can respond, Kage appears behind me, his buzzed head brushing my temple as he wraps his arms firmly around my waist.

“I agree withSexy Cuck Gremlin, over here. Now drink your coffee before we prove our point and have your pussy for breakfast,” he growls before biting my neck and kissing the sting away.

Heat rushes to my face, but I listen because despite how much I love to disobey and challenge them, I alsoverymuch like to be rewarded. Sipping my coffee, I savor the warmth and lean against the counter as Kage walksover to the fridge and pours himself a glass of orange juice.

“Can I ask you something?”

Nox’s smirk fades, his brows lifting slightly. “Depends on what it is.”

“You guys say that you’re mine, and I’m yours, but…on one hand, I feel like I hardly know you. And on the other, I’ve never felt like I’ve known two people more. Why is that?”

Kage’s intensely blue eyes lock on mine as he makes his way back towards me. Cupping my cheek, he slowly caresses my bottom lip with his thumb. “I feel it too, Wren. I have from the moment I laid eyes on you. I knew once I did, I had to know you.”

“It was the singing, wasn’t it? That’s always the thing that does it for men,” I sigh, rolling my eyes.

Kage chuckles and shakes his head. “No, little bird. You weren’t singing the first night I saw you.”

For a second the words don’t fully register. I stare at him dumbfounded, trying to really understand what he’s telling me. My brows knit together as I search his face for an explanation.

“What do you mean the first night you saw me? We didn’t meet until?—”

“No,” he cuts me off, his thumb still brushing my lip. “You didn’t meetmeuntil that night. I’d already been watching you for weeks.”

“Watching me?”

Kage’s lip curls into a sly smirk. “Don’t look so shocked, little bird. You think I’d just stumble into a bar one night andhappento find the only woman who’s ever made me lose my mind?”

Nox hums his agreement from behind me, notinterrupting, just sipping his coffee with amusement in his eyes. I turn sharply in his direction, pinning him with a disgruntled look.

“And what about you?” I yell, slapping his shoulder. “Have you been watching me for weeks too?”

“No,” he grunts, almost sounding upset. “That asshole kept you for himself. That behavior is reserved specifically for my brother.”

I bite back a laugh at Nox’s bitter words while my heart flutters at Kage’s smirk beside me. The idea of Kage watching me for weeks should scare me and have warning bells going off in my head, but it does the complete opposite.

Turning to face Kage, I cup his face with both hands and kiss him passionately. He snakes his large arms around me, pulling me in and kissing me back with just as much passion as I give him. Nox clears his throat behind us and we both start laughing between kisses.

“Sorry, grumpy,” I giggle, as I turn and give him kisses. Nox grabs me by the hips, pulling me onto his lap, his hand firmly cupping my jaw and deepens the kiss.

Pulling away, Nox hums, “Mmm, I want to show you something, phoenix.”

“Okay,” I whisper, and smile up at him.

Hopping off his lap, he grabs my hand and starts to lead me out of the kitchen.

“I’m gonna shower. I’ll come find you.” Kage says as we head down a hallway I haven’t explored yet.

We reach a set of double doors at the far end of the house. Nox pushes them open, revealing a spacious room dominated by a grand piano sitting in the center. The sunlight from tall windows spill across the polished wood, shining off the keys.

I step inside, my breath catching at the beauty of the room. There’s three different guitars on the far right wall, and a record player with several vinyls sitting on shelves above it on the opposite side.
