I shook my head. “Told ya, Rebel, crime doesn’t pay,” I called out.

“The Harlots are dead!” Vix screamed.

“Add death threats to the arrest, officers,” Nun shouted. The officer looked amused as the three Bloody Femmes kept kicking off. These were three of the worst members. They all had records already, which was why I’d transported the drugs to the gym that the three of them ran.

Dagger had done her job and created a scene in which shadowy figures wearing Bloody Femmes cuts were seen making drug deals outside the gym. The video was sufficient for the cops to get a warrant and search the gym. As owners, Dangerous, Vix, and Rebel were hauled off. I’d planted enough shit to ensure they did a nice long sentence.

Harleys roared as the door was shut on the wagon, and smiles crossed our faces as Foxy, Cheetah, and several others pulled up. Foxy was glowering as she climbed off her bike and headed towards the cops.

She began screaming and shouting and was shoving a cop when he swung her around and slammed her face down on the car.

“Assault on a cop. Nice,” I crowed as the other four Bloody Femmes also kicked off. Maid was cheerfully recording everything as the new arrivals were also arrested. The uniforms kept sending us worried glances as we cheered their efforts. Finally, the Bloody Femmes were carted off, and my job was done.

Sapphire

“You can’t shut us down!” Ivy yelled as the inspector slammed stickers all over her diner. People were filing out, looking disgusted.

“You had mice and droppings in your kitchen!” the inspector stated angrily. “You were serving people!”

“It’s a set-up. My kitchen is immaculate!” Ivy screeched.

“There was a cockroach in your icing sugar!”

“Bullshit. You put it there, you measly little…” Ivy’s head turned as she heard our tuts. Her eyes narrowed, and she spat on the ground. “Royal Harlots. How much did they pay you?”

“I resent your implication. I found those creatures in your kitchen. The only person to blame is yourself. I have the evidence on camera, and until these premises are clean and bug-free, they are shut! And fines will follow.” The irate man stormed off as I watched.

“Always knew you were dirty sluts, but contaminating your customers’ food? That’s even lower than I believed,” I replied.

“You’ll get yours, Harlots,” Ivy yelled and stamped her foot.

“Wow, talk about childish. Just own it. You’re a dirty cunt, and now Manchester knows not to eat here,” I stated.

Customers were watching, and many were looking green.

“I’d look at suing them, contaminated food with mice droppings. Who knows what you’ve eaten?” I said loudly. Two women bent over and threw up. A guy made his way down an alley, and we heard loud retching.

Ivy looked furious. “You’ll pay for this.”

“I don’t know why. It’s not as if we did this.” I laughed and mounted my bike. “Royal Harlots, let’s ride.”

Storm

“Should you be out and about?” Soul demanded as Dagger, Saphire, Vengeance, and I headed back to our bikes. I’d needed to attend a hospital appointment to get the all clear on some lingering headaches, which I’d received.

“Tell Sapphire we’re coming this weekend. Warden is going to reach out to her and let her know, but give her a heads-up. I understand she’s been pretty vile lately,” Soul said.

“How have you heard that, little brother?” I demanded.

“Gossip travels, and there’s a rumour about a cop that’s truly pissed Sapphire off.”

I quickly glanced at Sapphire to see if she was paying attention, but she was talking to Dagger.

“Nice to know,” I replied. Even though Soul was my brother, I wouldn’t discuss Harlot’s business with anyone else.

“How are you healing?” Soul asked.

“I’m fine.” My hand tightened around the phone.
